who has this number ridiculous

Received call from this number yesterday. Appears to be an automated call, as the pick-up is slow at the other end. Caller had asian accent & said he was from "The Ministry of Justice" & asked about an accident I had had. Since this was untrue, I told him not to call again & hung up. I am TPS registered, but it gives you no protection from these automated call centres.

Today 14/02/2013 I had a missed call from this number, 0000000000000 who it was i dont know just seems an odd number...

Had a call from 0000000000000 they asked if they were speaking to...and gave a name. I asked who they were and they asked if it was, they gave name again, who they were speaking too. I asked well you called me so who do you think you are talking too...they hung up.

Had call from this number 22/03/2013 asking for me by name, man with indian accent said he was from Accident Team Service looking for people who had an accident in last three years, cut off when i told him I was with TPS

I was called from this number (At least that was the number given when I dialled 1471) and a foreign sounding gentleman asked to speak to me. Then said something about Microsoft, then the line went dead.
When the gentleman was speaking to me I heard different voices chattering in different languages.

Some Indian / Bangladeshi guy (sounded mid 30's) asking for Mr. Becca Baker.

Mr Becca? Is he serious in what world is Becca a male's name!?

So just to confirm: Title "wrong", first name "wrong", surname "wrong"!!!! MORON!

He then gave me his name, claimed to be Mark Smith (or something like that), a likely story wich an accent as strong as his I'm certain that was not his real name!

The false info doesn't stop there...

He then went on to claim he was calling from Windows and asked if I owned a PC...

Windows??? Again fake company, it's "Microsoft ltd" what a moron!

So obviously at this point I knew exactly what his game was, to scan me into buying something, or give him some information or get me to unknowingly install a trojan / malicious software onto my PC.


He asked if I owned a pc I said I own 15, he seemed confused at the word "15", he asked again sorry sir do you own a computer? I said again I own 15 computers, he again seemed baffled by the word "15", what is this sir, what is "15"? He asked, seriously where was he educated? He also suggested that my computer had recently picked up a virus and that he could tell me where it was and how to remove it...

I explained I had a custom build firewall capable of withstanding even the most vicious of attacks, and he replied: firewall? What is this sir, no I asked if you own a computer... He clearly doesn't have even a basic understanding of computer protection. and he's trying to tell me how to look after my PC? WTF?


So anyway he asked me to turn my pc on and wanted to show me when viruses were located, etc...

But of course again he was wrong and my pc was already on, and I was actually sat at it trying to trace the call.

Anyway long story short...


Fraudulent caller, lied to me in everything he said and how the hell did he get 00000000000 as his phone number? Told him to F-off and hung up... Good times!

Nice one, just had the  same number calling here. I always stay silent until they speak but no one did. i love getting calls from foreigners :o)

I too have had numerous calls from this number and am getting totally fed up with whoever it is.  Sometimes it rings a couple of times and not enough time to answer, or I get a "hang-up" when I do get to the phone on time. Like other reports I sometimes get the recorded "goodbye"  What is that all about - the pratts?!??
Most annoying to say the very least.
Trouble is if one does get a reply then it could be from any tele-marketing company so one would not know whether to "blast" them with a few expletives or not; but they all deserve this response anyway.  These people are just low life and are a constant disturbance and intrusion on ones evening relaxation and everyday life.
I just cannot understand why these idiots call and then hang up;  they must be mental.

I keep getting this number and the caller hangs up +00 00000000000

This number has been calling me for the past two weeks and i am fed up going to the phone to see its the same number time and time again, I ignore it.  Also I am now getting calls from 01618205089 and 0207609965.

When you get a call from this number that hangs up as soon as you answer.

Because it's a scam and they make their money by charging you for calling them back.

Was called yesterday and today by this all noughts number. Didn't pick up as have stopped answering unknown number' calls - have been told answering shows your number is live & it will be put on a list sold on as validated recent numbers to marketing etc people (don't know if this is true).

Looks like the [***] have found a way to stop any trace on their number by using zeros.  Have no idea who they are, as they never leave any message.  When I have answered there is just silence and if I hang on long enough some robotic voice says "goodbye." Extremely annoying to say the least.  1471 reveals a string of zeros.
Other reports have mentioned it could be Limoges Porcelain Company (France) or Berkeley Direct and some think it's a marketing company.
Who knows.

Don't answer calls from such numbers and NEVER call them back. If your 'phone has a call blocking function use it in relation to these numbers and any others that you identify as a problem. Many of these numbers are used to attempt to establish that your number is live, and therefore can be illegally sold as part of a marketing list to 3rd parties. Others want you to call them back, for which you will be charged a premium rate.
