Just has a call from this number, it rang twice then hung up. A couple of seconds later it rang again so i answered it, was an Asian lady (maybe Chinese) I couldn't understand her and told her this, she kept talking so I hung up. Was very surprised at all the responses to this forum.... We need answers!!!

I don't know who she is, it's a Chinese lady, and want to asked me some questions, I said ,I am not interested in it, and hang up the phone call, but two minutes later, that lady still call me, and I asked her how did you find my phone number, she said , we have a IT system can scan the phone call, from 0000 to 9999, god , three days later they ,still call me, what I have to do is use firewall to block it, her phone number was 0011342101, I saw it maybe Skype

same here, I got a call from this number twice so far - seemed like it's some experiment or hidden survey that they are doing.

same thing- recieved a miss call from this number and thought it was a strange number so id google it- sure enough all you guys are having the same problem. Surely there is someone we can make a complaint to to source where the call is coming from?

sounds like a con tho- bloody con/scammers- nuthin' better to do!

I did put my number on fb..now i know for sure this is a scam..so u [***] stop bugging me...get a life and get real..

I answered the call from this number this morning. A chinese lady was on the other end. I tried to engage her in conversation however she realised I was not very fluent at taking the piss in Mandarin, so she said "do you not speak Chinese". I said "no", then she hung up.

I just received a call from this number (0011342101). There was an Asian lady talking, but the call was very noisy - lots of static, or maybe she was in a car or sometheing...? I'm not entirely sure because I couldn't hear clearly, but I thought she addressed me by name...

they are Nigerians working scams from a online call centre.

you can see from the responses here, that this scam call centre is multinational (lots of chinese in Nigeria) and they have hundreds of scams going on all calling and emailing from the same location. Its a pretty serious set up they have. Scamming 1:100 is all they need to achieve to make it all worth it.

They don't give up on you until you mention the Police or anti online Fraud Squad etc. These are hard blo flys to shake off and squat. To bad the tech gurus at the AFP are not doing more to have these scammers tracked and flogged.

This number needs to go and get a life. They Just called me seconds ago and i didn't answer because no one normal has it as a number.

I had this number call me up today as well, they called me 6 times in a period of one minute. would you suggest i just ignore the calls?

i got a call as well today, didnt answer it, no message left. does it have anything to do with the Alibaba site? is that where they get our numbers from?

From what i have read it looks like they are a scam trying to get peoples credit card details and are trying to sell things.

This number can be from any one calling you from overseas it is not a scam.

23/03/10 I also just had a call from that same number (0011342101) and it was silent to start then a lady said "do you speak chineese?" i hung up straight away then found this sight... is there anything we can to to stop them!?!

i got a missed call from this number as well...how strange is it that so many people have the same problem as me

Oh i had someone ask me if i speak chinese as well, they rang my home number though so i don't know the caller ID. i said no and hanged up :P
