Automated garbage about banks PPI etc

Natwest PPI information.  Hung up the moment I heard a female saying 'Natwest would like.......'

We keep getting calls from this number and when answered a recorded message about Barclays  Bank and HSBC Bank plays.  It seems to be a scam to get you to claim compensation.

I ignored this number, but they left an automated message when the answering service kicked in.
Something about PPI saying press 5 to speak to someone, or press 9 to be removed from their database.
No doubt if you did press 5, you would be connected somewhere at a ridiculous price per minute, so best to ignore these scammers.

When we answer the phone the line is quiet then when we speak they hang up.  This has happened a few times.

Number called today at 5.35pm. Call blocker intercepted and automatically blocked a foreign number. My personal circumstance and opinion - if it's from abroad, created using a terminal, or looks like a pin number created by a [***] child, it's most likely dodgy. Low and behold, according to all these reports, it is. Call blocking technology, don't you just love it?

Scammers! Won't even pick the phone up. B**st*rds! Don't trust anyone anymore, what a sad world :(

Comes up as international, but phone can recover number. Let it ring and it switched to answerphone with usual PPI crap.

Had countless calls, now I just answer the call and place phone near a noise, ie radio, washing machine, tv etc. Waste their time like they do mine.

Idiotic number,  though correct number of digits for it to be a UK number -LoL.

Ignored it, for some reason called didn't want to leave a message when answering m/c kicked in, just another waster ?

Right number of digits.    Wrong order.    No UK numbers start with 00.

got a recorded message as soon as I answered the phone giving me a string of banks - Barclays NatWest and I hung up = getting fed up getting calls like this thought they were illegal - THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED ANNOYING PEOPLE I COULD HAVE BEEN ON NIGHT SHIFT AND THEY ARE RINGING AT 11.14AM

I left my phone disconnected for about a month and all the nuisance calls have stopped when I plugged it back in. You get approx 1-2 month peace. I don't use landline at all, everybody that needs have mine or my husbands mobile number.
I am expecting it to start again in a months time tho...

Pre-recorded message for PPI claims. I pressed 5 for fun and was transferred to an "agent" (I don't think there is any way doing this makes liable for the call charges by the way). I hope BT makes as much money out of these nuisance calls as they can, then maybe they'd stop increasing their line rental and call charges. Seriously, it's actually cheaper to use a mobile phone. If it wasn't for the broadband who really would still use BT? Oooooh, sorry did I have a little rant there?

just got a call from this number no one there also tried to redial said no such numer.

Interesting phone number, called today and showed on my display as International and was expecting call from sister.  Instead the standard recorded message about PPI.  At least this number showed on my call list so I can now bar it (annoying my phone only shows International even though there was a number associated).  I guess they will now find another number from which to irritate us all.

Number is now barred on Call Guardian phone.  life is bliss now that the ars*holes can't ring me.

This a call I get regularly regarding PPI compensation. I would like to invoice the company who wastes my time when bombarding me and many others with their stupid recorded calls. The idiots do not realize that most their people are not stupid to fall for their idiotic message.

rang me two minutes ago . Recorded message , didn't even listen to it just put phone down and let them rabbit away . They're paying for it I hope .

Just had a call from this number, @ 11.50  I'm fed up by this number, And I am Not Interested.
