I had a missed call from this number, googled found this, it is helpful to know I am not the only one so it must be a scam, I'm on orange.

I rang orange and found out my number was on the orange directory, I suggest ringing your network and taking your name off any list there is.

im on 3 and ive been getting the same number. it may be horrace von hoote. from the zimbabwe telephone fraud prevention squad.

I've had this no called twice and I've not answered it - just googled!!!!!  I'm on 3 network so obviously not just an orange issue.

I have been getting calls from this number 3 times week for months now, i never answer but is getting really annoying now, and i am on orange contract as well

I'm getting at least 5 calls from this number everyone (has been going on for 3 weeks now).. also no answer when I pick up. I tried calling it back once out of curiosity but I got a message to say the number was invalid.

Me too, it first happened when I was in the states

i did not pick it up as i did not recognise the number.... they could always live a voicemail, which they did not. seeing all the complaints here, i will file this number in my ignored folder... i have a mobile
i do know some people in south africa, however they would have left a message or sent an sms

This is the second time I've had a call from this number but when I answer no one replies!

Same as the all the above. They have called me form this number twice this week. Pleae stoip them if you can

keep getting calls from this number but never answer, I'm on o2
so its not just Orange, also get spam calls from other numbers, must be a
web site I have entered my mobile number on as it is a works mobile
and I only use this number when I enter comps!

Also receiving calls from this number. I'm on the Vodafone network.  As others have suggested I only give my number to comps and friends (all of whom I have registered).  Have mostly ignored.  The one time I did answer was greeted with silence and then a deadline.

Keep having mis calls from this number and a text asking for my address, after seeing this site i will ignore.

i was told that this charges the person who answers
can somebody confirm whether this is true or not? as if it isn't, i'll just plan to leave my phone on so it charges them lol
when i answered for a few seconds there was nobody on the other end, i've also had 3 missed calls from them

Just had a call from this number. i missed the call but called back and number out of use. wierd

I was called by these so called people and he said he wanted to ask me a few questions regarding the recent credit crunch in my country.  I put the phone down.  I am also with Orange.

Got a call from this idiot telling me he wants to be my guardian angel to help with my debt, I said listen mate what do you want he said he had been working since 6 o'clock this morning, so I said well go and have break then & [***]!

This call is from a company that wants to eliminate any DEBT you have. IGNORE

These people have called me twice in the last few days. When you answer, there's no-one there. If you 'phone back you get number unobtainable tone. I am on Orange too!
