got a call just now - googled the number as they hung up on me. Am on O2 and i don't know anyone in Africa!!! Scary thing is they knew my name!!!

Have had two calls now and each time no one speaks?!  I'm on O2 so not just an Orange thing.  Have saved the number in my phone now so when they next call will not answer and hopefully they will get the message!

got a call today, said hello, they said nothing, they hung up after 15 secs. Am on Orange PAYG.

l got a call from this number as well, e guy said he was calling from 1st step debt management. Weird

I have had 4 calls from this number in two days when I answered it hung up, I am on Orange, don't know who the caller is.

just had a call from this number i am a orange customer to, didnt answer the phone call, i have just blocked the number from calling my phone now after reading the notes on this site.

Just had a missed call @ 12.02 today. googled it and found this site. I tried to ring back from my work phone and it says number not recognised! Im on 3 by the way!

just rang me, has been ringing me on and off for weeks now. getting annoying but never answer so don't see the point. I'm on Orange.

had a missed call 2 or 3 times. just called and I answered but no one spoke must be a scam.

have called me every other day now for about the last week but no one on the other end

Had the missed call for a week. I have family and friends that live in SA but didn't recognise the number. Gave a friend of mine the number to call them, but there was no response. Weird stuff.

answered a call, guy said he was from Carphone Warehouse, he needed on off payment, because I canceled direct debit to O2. knew my mobile account details and how much I usually pay and that I canceled direct debit too. I gave him card details and he was asking about something else when the line went off. got suspicious started looking and I found You guys. I phoned my bank immediately and  canceled my card. I am going to call Carphone Warehouse and ask about this number.

I have had calls for the last week from this number and 3 calls today but knew I didn't know anyone in South Africa who has my number so didn't answer.
I am with O2 so does seem to be a problem with all networks.
