Two identical message received as the initial one posted. The first on the 4th October, which I forwarded to Orange Spam (7726) and the next on the 5th. When I first started searching, there was nothing out there, but still looked and smelled like SPAM!

got the same call and was asked to call that number...turns out there is no parcel and I reported it to orange as well.  Wish I had looked for the number online earlier cause my call cost me 6 pound!!!

Had the same asking me to ring +43820899510.  It was an automatic reply asking for tracking no, which you don't have and then asked me for my phone number, then I got suspicious and hung up.

Recieved same at 11:35 0n 5th of Oct, completely threw me cos i am waiting for an international delivery. If anybody finds who this is please let me know so that i could maybe pop round and introduce them to Mr Baseball Bat.

received message from 0790054378 also dialed mobile left a friendly message not to bother ringing me again

i have called this no as i was expecting delivery,,,, now im expecting a big bill... oh dear
what can i do???

Recieved text message sunday night from 07900544122 telling me to call 0043820899515 to collect a parcel. As me and a friend are expecting a delivery (he also recieved the same text) we both phoned the number but obviously found out now its a scam.

Tex Message Urgent Parcel Delivery. Rang number got diverted a few times then smelt a rat and hung up

Same message received.  Did not call it as not awaiting parcel.  However, did text to say who is this?  Hope I dont get charged for extra text!!

I am in Australia and I am expecting a parcel and I got a text to say that the parcel is expected and the same numbers where quoted as above. I was worried my parcel has gone to austria and not Australia. I rang the number and it does not exist anymore. Looks like someone has done a runner...

Just got the same text (at 02.46 in the morning!) but from +447901882351 and wanting me to ring +43820990914.

Well this is strange as this is a fixed rate number like our 0845 / 0870 so no real money to be made by scaming.

So unless you call from Austria they get nothing, as its just an International standard call to call from any other country.  So they must be doing something with the numbers, sellin them or something.

Ive had this message @ 3:30am on a Sunday so knew it was a scam, but called it from my home phone as i get free international calls to Europe so the call wont cost me a penny.  And it all seems legit at their end an automated system, that wants your details and aranges delivery, but was not giving my address as i guss they will sell your data on or use it for fraud.

Ok got some more information, this number is €0.20 per min, have managed to find a e-mail address for the austrian telephone regulators, send an e-mail to them and complain.  numbering@rtr.at

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to the numbers.  Although I have family in Canada, I wasn't expecting a parcel yet.  I think the ones more likely to be caught out or check it would be ones that were expecting so it's not surprising most of the posters were.  I was tipped off by the 00 at the beginning signalling an international number, and the fact that anyone who would send me a parcel wouldn't have my mobile number.  For those awaiting ebay purchases how would they have your mobile?  I've yet to give out a telephone number for any purchases from anywhere let alone overseas.  Just another red flag to me.

Got the same text as all the others below - called the number - arranged delivery and nothing arrived - each call costs £2 and they are a scam as far as I can see. My mobile provider thinks the same. do not call the number

....how bloody obvious are they!? Im glad i havent ordered anything off ebay lately though, i can understand the confusion there...those [***]. hopefully the most will be able to tell its dodgy n not respond.

Recieved 1 of these texts a few weeks ago and a couple of minutes ago I got a 3 second phone call from +23222270688. According to this thread https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/23222270688 it's another parcel scam. Just wondered if anyone else had recieved a phone call?
