Scammers claiming to be from BT anti-hacking department, please don't give any of your details and hang up.

Just had a call from this tel number. He said was from OpenReach who are the fiber optics provider in this area for las internet providers. He tried to get me to do what he wanted and asked me about my devises etc. A real time waister. Make sure you block the number he was calling you from. I tried to asked him about my refund which does not exist.. but said that to have some fun until I got tired, annoyed and disgusted with these people.

Just had call from Simon Mark, Senior BT Engineer 00441793 596931 says our internet speed slow need acess - told him to do one so he got upset/disconnected. SCAMMER AVOID - Simon crawl back into your rat/cockroach infested slum

A woman called me. Said BT was cancelling my internet because of complaints or something. She gave me that number to call back (I now have a number to block) and told me to go to the 4 boxes on my laptop so that she could show me my id number.... my only wish would be that i was amazing at computer hacking and play their game destroying their systems..

Needless to say I'm just not clever enough to try calling them or going anywhere near my computer and let them in.. I just put the phone down.

Asian guy said his name was Marcus! Tried to convince me to turn on my computer as he was from BT technical department & had identified a problem with my router. I kept him talking for 10 mins where he tried desperately to get me to turn on my computer. I asked for his number so I could call him back & guess what?

Had a Asian women call this morning , from openreach apparently ? She said I was having poor internet speed (which ironically im having ) said they have been changing onto fibre from copper wire (bulls%$t , openreach have been and said we will never have fibre as we are too far away from exchange) she was very eager to turn my computer on etc , asked her for number which she then gave 00441793596931 (1471 returned 01332 549546 and no answer when called back) 100% scam , also had similar call last week and when I told him openreach had been and sorted it he put phone down on me ..

Had a call from an Asian sounding guy, maybe Indian, saying he was from BT, he said he was called Peter Hensworth and his BT id was 465999. He told me my Bill's would be reduced by 35% with no time limits on calls. He was insistent to know my personal details and when I declined he hung up.

Same as the resto the thread claimed to be from BT.. kept him on th phone and questioned him  for 13 minutes - Absolute scum trying to con vulnerable people -Please be careful

Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach.   Told me our IP address had been comprised.   Very insistent I go to my computer where he would 'talk me through' how to put the matter right.   I told him it was not convenient (I realised it was a Scam) and he said he would call me back.  So far he hasn't.   Why can't these calls be stopped?
