I received the one "I got your number from a friend" etc, but disregarded it as a one time thing and deleted it. Then a couple of weeks later, they started coming in the middle of the night. Telling me they could hear me "over there, even over the TV." "Calm down and go to bed now" It feels like they really know you and its scary and if its pranks, it is very annoying! Sprint said they had blocked that number, but again last night they started in the middle of the night. Isn't there anything we can do??

I just got an instant message on my phone and it said that he got my name from a friend and that he is shy and he wanted me to guess who it is.  I am just sure these people need to grow up and stop harressing people on the cell phone.

when anyone sends an instant message to a cell phone from Yahoo messenger this is the number that comes up "0092466501" then you can just text back and forth from the cell phone. your spouses are all idiots maybe thinking this number means nothing.

my husband received 7 text messages within a 20min period from this # 924-665-01 and email address was Tra1nhard@yahoo.com.I have tried to look up both but notable to do so. Does anyone have any info to either #or email.

number from this "Hiromi" girl stating that she is missing me, etc.  Confused as to how Yahoo! could let messengers send to phones and give out contact info of the person they are messaging (especially since I am not with Yahoo anymore...).

Got a couple of text messages from 924-665-01  identified as gregmichael19@yahoo.com . saying:  "he runs a private accounting firm and  he is currently looking to strenghten his organization structure by adding a P/A that works part time. the company is base in Uk  but he is looking for some one to work as personal assistant. someone in the US due to strengthen of company"...

Some other people that I know have been receiving e-mails and text messages from this "gregmichael" and many other names that he or she uses. As many times they have reported him-her as spammer, just changes e-mail addresses from yahoo or gmail. His spam continue arriving with many  other names, but his username remains. If cannot continue spamming your e-mail address then goes to text.

I think this person gets information ( from craiglist posts) and sends either e-mail and text messages to all the people posting some service or looking for jobs at craiglist.

And yes, Yahoo should block this creep.

Have any of you ever used 1-800411free?, I think if you use this to get toll free numbers then they have your number. As soon as I used that 800 number I started getting these crazy text.

same thing here only the name is terryduck4u.  told me "he" wanted me 2 do checks 4 him and i just blew him off. i tried 2 get some info from him but wouldn't give it up.  added him 2 my yahoo im and then, when i couldn't get any info, i deleted him.  am calling sprint right now 2 get this blocked.  it's all a scam.  stupid idiots!! just don't let it get 2 u. not ur fault.

i got several of these texts from this number but the name on it was terryduck4u. wanting 2 know if i would do checks 4 him/her. added him/her 2 my yahoo im just 2 get more info but wouldn't give me any so i deleted them immediately. then my phone just kept blowing up. i have deleted all texts from that number and won't take anymore texts or IMs from this person.  what a joke!!!  this is definitely a scam and no one should fall 4 it!  don't let it get 2 u.  these r just stupid nigerians who have nothing better 2 do then try 2 get ur money!  that's all they do all day long.

well I just have to say my ex apparently was cheeting he was texting to this girl on a yahoo.com address and thats where the number came from. Most of the time you have to text them first so they will have your number.Very rareryly do they just conactat you they have to be given your number first. Blocking it doesnt work I tried doing that.

I just got a few texts from this number saying it was from a yahoo user.  If the person doesnt no me its pretty scary cause they know stuff about me.  When I asked who it was the person did not respond.  I know a friend of mine has gotten messages like this before but they stopped when she told them too. yhr number comes through as 924-665-01

Thats so wierd this person already had my number I wonder how they got it? and it was from a yahoo address.  Amazing the new things people come up with to ruin others lives sorry to hear about all your break ups
