got a call from 009727949898;  am in UK no voice, just office noise in the background; am xdirectory,  listed on TPS; so should not have received any calls; had i got a person, he would have regrettedhe was born I usually give them such a hard time!! preteding am deaf, or in a nursing home, or just plain stupid!! usually have so much fun - AND no danger of getting pregnant!

now have had three calls today , they are pretending to be the P.C company windows . Calls are coming from Palestine. ( my living room does not open up to launch  a thunderbirds rocket  , I do not live on Tracey island  and I am no brains but  not technologically disadvantaged enough to not know how to track them ! )   last number they used was 0097059007 next time they call you say nothing and  leave the call active  then place the  handset  into another nice quiet room and let them run up their own cal costs  !

What is the purpose? Who's the person?

I was called by 0097 059007 today. An eastern man said I have problems with my computer. I said it was news to me. He mumbled something about Microsoft and started shouting when he realised I knew he was a scam.

Had the joker on 0097059007 on my landline today. Wished I'd seen your comment about leaving the handset in a quiet room so they ran up their own call costs. Will know next time!

I was called by 00970590070801 this morning in the UK.  No idea who it was (I missed the call) or why I should receive a call from UAE - a new and unwanted experience.

Sorry about the last message.  It was 0097059007 at GMT 08:01.  I see that number has been listed by one caller as coming from Palestine and is about the usual computer fault scam.  Try telling them that you work for a top secret hacking company and you have a way to feed all their security camera and computer camera into your computer.  You can see them and will recognise them next time they call.

By the way when I looked up country codes I found that 0097 was listed as UAE.
