i have just joined this mobility company
signed up to buy a new scooter
changed my mind
in the serven day period  
payed 200 up front 6 weeks later no money
going to trade and standards tomorow

just been on computer found out meadow vale shut down their accounts 4 3 1913
so i reckon thats my money gone so beware they r still about

I have dealt with this company for many years and cannot praise them enough, obviously I can not speak for every ones experience. They are still in business as I have just placed an order for a new adjustable bed. I asked them about this link and they said that like many businesses, sales have been difficult but are not going to close.

I can only think that the positive comments are from the commision only tele-sales staff that they employ to cold call pesioners.
Any company that :-
1 - Doe Not Offer a price list - you know are going to try and get away with charging what they can on the day. It is the same technique as double glazing or Kirby Vacuum cleaners
2 - The main telephone line does not work instead the sales rep gives an 0800 number that links to Vodafone Mobile
3 - Their website crashes your computer evry time you try and open it
4 - Always call on a 'number witheld'
5 - ABM Mobility - remember them on BBC Watchdog ... Google them also based in Nottingham as was Nottingham Mobility who's owner was Shane Johnson who was convicted and imprisoned for a year.

After ABM took my Father for £3,500 for a scooter, I found their offices and outside sat two CL500 coupes £80k each? I did get my Fathers money back that day...

to get a idea of this company, watch their first ever TV Advert. this will be aired on BBC1 8pm 15th May 2013. I understand its in the break of Watchdog.I believe that must be the Rogue Traders section.

Tried to contact this number several times due to repair of stairlift, number always unobtainable. Tied to contact rep, e was rude and very unhelpful. Still waiting for someone to reply.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INTO A RELATIVES HOME !!! THEY PREY ON THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED AS THESE ARE EASY TARGETS !! MY FATHER WAS COLD CALLED FOR MONTHS BEFORE HE AGREED TO A REP COMING TO TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT  AND WHEN THE REP TURNED UP HE SAID I'VE COME TO SELL YOU A SCOOTER, IT WAS A CHAIR MY FATHER WAS INTERESTED IN !
MY FATHER WAS SOLD A BESPOKE MADE TO MEASURE MOBILITY CHAIR, 2 DAYS LATER ( HE WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 10 DAYS ) IT WAS DELIVERED AFTER APPARENTLY BEING MANUFACTURED IN THEIR ONSITE FACTORY, HE WASN'T GIVEN A 7 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED TO BY LAW AND THE CHAIR WAS A STANDARD OFF THE SHELF MOBILITY CHAIR MADE IN CHINA,FOUND ON AMAZON FOR £449,CITIZENS ADVICE ADVISED ME TO WRITE TO THEM AND SEND THE LETTERS REGISTERED POST, AFTER WRITING TO THEM THEY RESPONDED AND AGREED AFTER THE 3RD LETTER TO GIVE A FULL REFUND AND RETURN MY FATHERS CHAIR HE HAD PART EXCHANGED ,HIS CHAIR WAS RETURNED WITH OUT THE TRANSFORMER SO COULDN'T  USE IT AND THE OTHER TAKEN BACK TO THE FACTORY TO BE EXAMINED TO ENSURE IT WAS IN THE SAME CONDITION THAT IT WAS DELIVERED IN,THAT WAS 2WEEKS AGO NOW! SO MY FATHER HAS NOTHING TO SHOW FOR £2000 !!THE ONLY PHONE NUMBER THAT ACTUALLY RINGS NOW IS THE ONE ON THE LETTER HEAD 0800  112 3395 ( I GOT THROUGH ON 0115 9380062 LAST WEEK, THIS DOESN'T RING NOW) BUT THIS GOES THROUGH TO NICKS VOICEMAIL? HAVE JUST LEFT ANOTHER VOICEMAIL,WHICH HE DOESN'T BOTHER REPLYING TO!! ITS A SHAME NONE OF THE COWARDS ANSWER THE PHONE TO SPEAK TO THE RELATIVES WHO ARE LEFT PICKING UP THE PEICES !! THIS IS THE MOST  UNPROFESSIONAL   COMPANY YOU'LL COME ACROSS!! I DONT KNOW HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT! SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN THEY DELIVERED THE CHAIR , THEY  TURNED UP IN A RUSTY TRANSIT VAN WITH NO SIGNAGE , SUMS IT ALL UP REALLY DOESN'T IT ??

FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE ABOVE POST , THE PRICE OF THE MOBILITY CHAIR FROM MEADOWVALE WAS ORIGINALLY £2400, THEY TOOK THE OLD CHAIR IN PART EXCHANGE FOR £300 AND
THE REP ALSO MADE OUT HE WAS DOING MY DAD A FAVOUR BY KNOCKING OFF £200 VAT , BUT MY FATHER IS DISABLED SO IS EXEMPT FROM PAYING VAT ON MOBILITY PRODUCTS !

My auntie placed an order for this company a while ago it took well over 6months before she received the product to which the excuses were its being sent from Holland then from America which is RUBBISH!!! I phoned the manufactures who said the turn around was within a week NOT months. needless to say she did get her scooter eventually with scratches all over and this was supposed to be new!!

So why all the waiting?

If you look for meadowvale mobility on company check you will see they are now in liquidation( I am not surprised)

Keep a look out for these people I have a feeling they haven't gone completely look at all the others that have set up again but under a different name!!

They telephone today from 07825221025 calling themselves Mobility Support.  Claim they are ringing to see how you are!
And whether we have everything we need.  I quizzed her and got the name & that they are based in Nottingham.  She tried to make out she wasn't selling anything and that were not a company.  I replied 'you're not ringing for a chat, you're a business trying to flog scooters etc.  She said No!!!   Asked if they had a website, she replied No.  (Probably because of this link) .....

They are same people operating again under this new name after being exposed as Meadow Vale Mobility Rogue Traders on BBC Watchdog.  
Please everyone don't be fooled by these people.
