had a call from a loan company telling my husband he had got a loan.

Just got another call from this number (01212, no further digits). It was just all quiet, then they hung up...

Just had a call from a foreign woman wanting to speak to our director about a financial matter. I asked which company she was from, she said CFS. I then asked her to name the director she wanted to speak to. She hung up! 1471 revealed 01212 011775

Keep getting calls from 01212121211.  When I ring back it is just a dead line - cany anyone help or does anyone know who it is? - it's getting to be really annoying

Just had a call from 012121212111.. Someone on other end but couldn't understand what they where saying then they hung up... Very odd..

I keep getting these idots ringing me every week asking for the same person and i keep telling them they got wrong number but still they KEEP phoning grrrrrrrrrrr

Just recieved a call from number beginning 01212 asking if i had heard of the indian tandori in a village not far from me.

I asked where he was call me from  and he asked if he could call me back, so i said no!

I've just received two missed calls from 0121 345 3118. When I tried to call the number, I had a recorded message from BT, saying that the number has not been recognised

this number came up saying calling from Lloyds TSB bank,I am quite worried as I could not call back.

Yeahh same happened to me just now!
Didn't fall for it though, they think we're idiots.

two calls over two days from 01212 7773019 claiming to be with Iglobals and acting on behalf of Microsoft. Claimed my computer had been infected by something that he needed immediate remote control access to resolve. Was very persistent verging on harassing at times. |First time he withheld the number. When he rang the next day, call back provided the above number. He refused to provide any means of independent confirmation of who he was or to verify what he was saying.

Received a call from this number when I amnswered it no one there!

Just got somebody (sounded Indian) claiming to be calling from 'the world wide web' - no, don't laugh [not the world wide web consortium - which is a legal organisation]. Fairly obviously it was a scam, and I'd normally drop the phone, but decided to listen to the spiel. He was fairly insistent and wanted me to switch on my computer and show me - through msconfig - that my computer was infected with the Black Horse Trojan, and apparently it was affecting their servers in Manchester.

The number he insisted I call back on was 01212 883639.

He would've tried to remote control my PC by getting me to download and install software I suspect, like with a lot of the messages already posted above.

When I said this was a scam - he was most insistent that it wasn't and that I wouldn't have to pay anything. At this point I couldn't contain my laughter any longer so I rang off.

I was called by a non sounding English man at around 17.11 on 4th. June stating records show that I had not claimed the loft insulation grant I hung up.  Who are these people and how are they getting hold of our details?

Answered phone.  It went dead.  Feel this is an unwanted nuisance call.

Rec'd two calls from 01212 today, at 5.0pm and 5.24pm
"Caller" hung up immediately.
