Just received a call from 0121 318 7136 (obtained by dialling 1471).
Caller asked if I was Mr..... (my wife's maiden name) to which I replied "no, there isn't a Mr..... here."
He then asked "have I got the right number for ......." (my wife's First and maiden name) to which I said "the answer is not a 'yes' or 'no', so if you tell me who is calling and why I will give it."
He said "my name is 'Stanley', there's nothing to worry about, why are you being like that".
I said "OK, tell me your full name, company name and address, plus reason for the call and I'll give you the answer"
His response was "goodbye" and hung up. :-)
Our number is already registered with TPS, for what that is worth (not a lot) for operations like that.

Keep getting calls from 01213187136 asking to speak to someone who doesn't live here. Rang off. (I'm registered with the TPS)

We get continuous calls from the number 01213187136. These are nuisance calls tha at I would like stopped. Its getting to the stage that we hardly ever answer the phone these days

rang at4pm on wed 27th Aug, when I picked up it just went silent and cut off.

Why are you calling  me as I answer the call you hang up if you think this is amusing I don't so please [***] off you [***]

I have many calls from this number just put it down today he called back and told me "I was a stupid women for putting phone down" and got abusive will have to try to block this number

They say that they are from Choice and they are doing a short survey (2 minutes).  They had my name but the address was completely wrong.  When they asked for my addresses I refused and they said bye.

Usual quiet line then "Hello..." (Indian sounding voice)... "Can I speak to Mr X..." ... "This is .... I'm not calling to sell you anything..."
Told him to stop wasting my time and left handset - overhead him claiming he wasn't...

Called yesterday - said he was from Choice
I said I was not interested in speaking to him
Today they phoned and just kept silent - nothing said and then put phone down

Just received a call from this number asking for Mrs Reiley. When I advised that they had the wrong number he asked whether I was the owner of the telephone number I said yes and asked to be removed from their database to which he responded with a l-o-n-g loud burp then hung up. Nice.

Keep calling my number and asking for a name tha does not live here... keep telling them and told them to take number off,,, there reply was we have to keep trying

Yeah 0121 318 7136 keeps calling me, luckily in the daytime. It appears there is nothing we can do - although I like the idea of threatening with torture as mentioned above ha!

I (and hundreds of others) keep receiving calls from 0121 318 7136. This is a known SCAM and I have reason to believe you have provided this number. On behalf of everyone on these forums I'd just like to extend some gratitude for such a brilliant nuisance, well done!

Received a call from 0121 318 7136. Caller had foreign accent but this appears to be a UK number ? Told caller that if this was the case, he should not be phoning me as I am registered with the TPS. He said "don't worry I'm not trying to sell you anything, I just want to ask a few questions". I repeated that he should check the TPS register before phoning... and he promptly hung up ! If this is a UK call coming via an overseas number... why can't the TPS chase it up..... seems they are a 'toothless tiger.'  

Called me second day. Recognised the style and hung up as i was waiting another call. Definitely a harassment marketing operation.

Silent call from this number.  First one from this number but gets lots of mainly INTERNATION junk calls at the moment - I never answer numbers I do not recognise.

3 times an Indian man rang me saying he was not selling anything....wanted to do survey. He asked for me by name.....I told him to go away and hung up.

A guy with an indian accent keeps harassing me calling from this number asking about what tv package I have and when I asked him why he wants to know he wouldn't say.

Just got a call asking for Mr.... From 01213187136...when I said "sorry can you speak to Mr.?" They hung up!
