Just had a call from this filth. I've had twenty five years of spam scam nuisance harassment calls, sometimes as many as ten a day. Due to the continued failure of David Cameron to do his job that taxpayers pay him to do, and continuing the failure of his predecessors Gordon Brown, Tony Blair et al, my phone number is sort of looking like it's unusable. How tedious. What a failed country Britain is. But it is surprising the government regulatory bodies police and justice system are all so endemically failed in UK in the year 2014. Noone cares. They're all negligent, incompetent and unfit for purpose. They're all too lazy and stupid. And bent, from top to bottom. So the evil continues. I really pity old people, single mums at home alone and people with mental health issues, it's severely oppressive for a lot of them. I suppose that as a fairly robust bloke I'm supposed to just put up with the continuous daily harassment. Well, that's just not good enough. Pull your finger out Cameron, do your job you useless inferior failure.

Had a call asking for me (correct name) first and last! Didn't say it was correct but just asked him who he was and what he wanted? (again Indian accent) to which he hung up.
Will add the number to a list of numbers that have a silent ring tone! Cheapest way of blocking calls!

Call from this # per CLID at 16:55 17/09/2014 - rang off when they got Answering Machine OGM.

Just had a call from this number which came up on my Caller ID as 01213187136 but also as INTERNATIONAL. don't know how as 0121 is Birmingham area code. From what others are saying this is a company called Choice Today based in Warrington. They sell insurance. Obviously cold calling to tout for business! Seems they get your number if you've used one or more of the Comparison websites :(

When told we did not want anything they called back 30 seconds later shouting and abusive saying they will call every day as I am MAD not to listen to them - reported to OFCOM - Please do same

This number continually calls my elderly mother and when she answers they hang up. This is intimidation and it is frightening for an 88 year old woman. If the opportunity presented itself I would like to meet these people and insert their phones where the sun don't shine!

Got called by this number asking who provided our TV, sky, cable etc. I advised we're TPF registered and ex-directory and asked where he got my number. He said from a public database. I asked him not to call again but he says he'll phone every day until I listen to him.

When will we be able to STOP these calls?

Just recieved a call from this number from an Indian chap and when I refused to answer his questions he said "Get lost you B"£$^%d", very friendly

Just had another call.  This has been going on about a year.  If I answer with my name they hang up immediately.  They sometimes ask for Mr Kingshot then hang up on me if I tell them no such person on this number.  Today I asked to be removed from data base.  When I refused to give them my name they hung up again.  Always an Indian voice.  Sometimes number withheld but this time I got it.  Real pain in the [***].

I've just had a call from this number.  I am sick & fed up of these types of calls.  As soon as I heard the 'Indian gentleman', I knew it was another one.
The action I now take is as follows:
I tell him that I'll go & find the person he wants to speak to.  I then leave the phone connected & can hear him saying 'hello, hello, hello'.  On this call today, he kept coming back to the 'phone for 9 minutes.  That was a pretty good result in itself!
Then he supposedly 'hangs up'.  However, I have a theory that if I keep my phone open from my end then it stops that line from being used until I hang up myself.
What then follows is the shrieking sound (similar to that used by BT when you have left the phone off the hook).  However, if you listen carefully, it is much louder than BT would use.  I believe they are just using a recording & making it louder.  Also, this noise goes on for longer than it would with BT.  Then you get the 'please replace the handset message'.  Again, I believe that they have just pinched this from BT.  Then they play a sound to make out that the line has gone dead.  
I then keep the handset off for 30 minutes more - to teach them a lesson.
My theory might be wrong but it is definitely worth trying.  If nothing else, it makes me feel better!

Just had a call from this number but no one was on the other end. They called at 3am is there anyway I can get this number blocked

Had a call from this number at 3.00am.  They rang off as soon as I answered. Several neighbours have also reported calls at around this time although I' m not sure if it is from the same number- very frightening for elderly folk living alone.  What satisfaction can they get from such stupid actions?

I have a Panasonic home phone with a blocking facility which comes in real handy when dealing with scum companies like these, yesterday they tried four times to call but went straight to answerphone, they tried the international caller ID which a lot of the time now also shows their number which you can block, take the time to report scum like this to the TPS and the ICO,when the complaints hit a certain number they can then 'go after' these deviants.

usually keep missing these calls, but call several times a day waking up my little baby and waking my little boy up at night.i answered today and line was just silent then cut off,i actually tried to return this call but was told by the lovely computerised lady voice it was a call that was unable to be connected.sneaky lil buggers!! so they can harass us but we cant do the same back

Number called me at 1am. As I  have a relative in hospital it gave me quite a scare. Idiots

Received a call from this number, guy offering a survey then to my amazement, called me "babe" I refused survey and guy started asking me how am I ect... This then proceeded to him asking me to masterbate! Told me he was bored at work :o I mean what the actual hell????

Got called by this number at around 17:00 this evening (11 Dec 2014) from a gentleman with an Indian sounding accent giving his name as 'Sean'.  He started off by saying he was doing a survey in the Gloucestershire area.  I asked who he was and he again repeated 'Sean' I then used words of one syllable to try & explain I wanted to know who he represented. I was told it was a company called "Way of Life" and that they wanted to know how I received TV in my house.  I then politely explained that I use the Telephone Preference Service to stop these types of cold calling.  He was polite too and wished me a good evening and then hung up.
