I had a call about 5 mins ago.  

An indian sounding gentleman who said I had a problem with my computer sending them viruses and dodgy signals down their line and causing it to be blocked!! LOL  He asked me if I was aware of the problem and I told him "NO" so he went on to tell me to switch on my computer, I told him it was already on, he said he would guide me to sort out the problem!! again LOL

He started to tell me to press the windows button and at this point I told him he was a scammer and he denied it and I told him I would not press anything or do anything he asked and told him to refrain from dialling here again!

My dad had a call from this number - foreign sounding bloke said that my dad's computer was causing him problems and tried to get him to do something in the browser. Dad wisely hung up. Sounds like those old phone phishing things.

my mam got a call fom this number claiming they were from microsoft but my mam caught on and said she was busy at the moment so they asked what time wud be suitable she said 5 but they havent called back since and its now 6 o clock
i hate these people like wud they just all go away >:(

this is a goverment number some sort of secret service they cheking up on u dont worry if u got nothing to hide

I got a call from this number today saying they were from BT Tech support. They were trying to get me to allow them access to my computer to install software on it for £130! Very suspect.

I've just been called by this number - but when I answered it there was no response from the other end.

For two years these people have been calling me, they ask for 'mrs hemsby' which isn't me.. I have explained many many times that 'mrs hemsby' does not live here and please stop calling.. They then just ask if they can have a minute of my time to which I say 'NO'
They call at least 5 times a week- sometimes more, sometimes after 8pm - I have tried everything to get them to stop, Ive asked nicely that they remove the telephone number from their system, I've been rude and shouted, I've left them hanging.. But they just dont give up..
Today 'hello can I speak to mrs hemsby' I said 'whos calling,?' they say 'monica lopez from national research centre' I would like a minute of your time' I sked if I could have her telephone number so I could report her for nussience calling' she hung up!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I got a call from 01234567890 today at 11:30am 12 Oct 2010
The call was silent for a short time but was then picked up by a male with an
Indian accent he said he was calling from the national marking research centre or something close to that
His info was out of date because he asked to speak to a previous owner of the house by name,
We have owned the house for 8 years and that previous owner left the country upon selling the house to us.
He said he could talk to me as I was there and told me he was doing market
I told him that the previous owner had sold up and emigrated and was about to decline his offer when he just hung up.

Called purporting to be from Microsoft, warning me not to switch on my PC as hard drive 25% corrupted!! Said I was busy but they wanted to call back and talk me thro' some "technical support" Called my usual PC repair people who say they've had a spate of their costumers receiving these scam calls. They're out to get your bank details.BEWARE

I got a call on 14 Oct 2010  at aprox 1700 on my phone(I am male). Unusually it was answered by my wife. There was no voice at the other end and the phone went dead. On my return, 1471 reported last call to be 01234567890. my wife had used the call back no 3 and was told number not recognised as was the case when I subsequently dialed it.

I have had several missed calls from this number over the past 2 weeks. I was home the other night when they called and I answered to a lady with an accent asking for Mrs Taylor, who is not at my address. I said there was no one of that name and she said it didn't matter and she could speak to me instead - she was calling from the National Research Centre. I said I hadn't got time to speak to her and asked her not to call again and she just said OK and hung up. I have had missed calls since also. So annoying.

Had a call from this number today an asian man with not very good spoken english said he was representing very good solicitor and asked me about a accident i had nearly 3 years ago i told him i was busy and to phone another day

Been gettin a lot of silent calls lately but after this evening's call, on dialling 1471, I got the 01234567890 number as the caller ID.

This number keeps calling, asking for a "Mr Robertson" I don't know a Mr Roberton. The woman on the other end was quite hard to understand.

have now had 43 calls from this number this month on my bb talk line
