17.54 13th May received a call allegedly from 01234567890.  Waited for several seconds for someone to speak, I said Hello - they said Goodbye.  Yeh, I know, sounds like a song title.  However, not amused - tried to call back, number not recognised. Who is this moron?

Called from 01234567890 All that was heard was "Goodbye" then line went dead.

got this call from the above number, noone said a thing but just whispers then cut off. Very spooky.

Someone rung from this number yesterday.  Indian sounded male voice said something like he was from Microdot and I would get a reduction on my next payment.  Told him I hadn't a clue what he was on about and hung up.

got 2 calls from this number last night - called it back but number unavailable - what is this??

Just had a call, it went to my answering machine but no message, I'm not even going to try calling them back judging by this thread its a dodgy number,

This number rang me today & someone in India told me they could make my phone calls cheaper...told em to bog off!

Hi Steve,I also got called by this tel.no.this evening 10th June and like you it was an Indian man stating he was from Microsoft.He also knew my name.Suspecting it was a scam of some sort I hung up quickly.I find these type of calls very annoying.Is there anything that can be done to stop them?

I had a call from this number on my TPS registered home phone. A guy with a foreign accent asked for me by name, and proceeded to tell me how his company, called Microtech, could save me money on my phone bills. I told him I would report him, and finished the call. I have reported this call to the Telephone Preference Service.

Got this call and asking me if there's accident happened to this address. When I ask what accident 'that happens in the past few years if anyone got injured' I said no he hang up.I try to dial the number it rings and then 'this number have not been recognise'

i received a call from this number offering free computer security for 9 years +free engineer to fix all my problems (i dont have any problems) when i started asking questions he told me to f--- off,very polite man.

Got a call this morning, foreigner asked for me by name, claimed to be a company called Micro Talk, I made him spell it as his accent made most of what he said unintelligible Wanted to talk to me about the discount I was already getting from them on my line rental. I don't rent anything from them so told him to f off..

call from 01234567890 claiming that he was calling from Microtalk and that my phone bills would be comming down to £15 or so a month ... Is this OK?  at that point I explained that I had a Virgin Media line and not a BT based line and he hung up.  I suspect if you said OK, you would have agreed to some contract that hadn't been told to you, and you'd find you line switched to another provider.

I also received a marketing call from them.  Indian callcentre.  Told me he was calling from MicroTalk.  I looked up the website while he was on the phone.  They're based in London.  I advised the caller (apparently his name was Ryan) that I was on TPS.  He didn't know what it was.  I called the UK number 0800 814 4404 and when they finally answered the phone they tried to get further info from me.  Advised me they were calling to invite me to change call providers.  I said I was on TPS and asked where they screened their lists, she didn't know what TPS was.  The girl put me on hold, then apparently transferred me to ext 103 where I got voicemail.  Which I hung up on.  Micky mouse outfit at best.

Dicks just phoned me. I never answer calls from numbers i dont recognise. if anyone wants me they can ring again and leave a message!!!! FFS!

I had a call from this number today. Really bad English. Probably a Dehli call centre. Caller claimed to be from Micropot? Microtop? Started banging on about BT Openzone. When I said I was with TalkTalk, he then said that it didn't matter as he represented them too. Then started to ask what time of day I made calls. I told him that if he was working from Talk Talk, he'd already have my records and hung up. Who are these people??
