I had  atext from C.A.R.S asking me to call Becky Fuller. Sadly I am one of those people that has to get to the bottom of what it was all about. Having seen that they are a legit company, even though their methods are not legit, i called. They said I had to give them details, address and DOB, but would not even tell me what type of company they were.

I'd don my research on them and as I'd had to get a new debit card and love file sent me a letter saying that they couldnt take payment and that they wanted the disks back I had I assumed that what all this was about.

I gave them the info and low and behold love film said I owed them for the 2 disks. i told them that I had sent them back and they said ok we'll let love film know.

I had it out with them and said I had received no letters despite them saying that they had sent me one. I also said do not text me next time, call me and she claimed that thye had tired to call me which was a lie.

And I was not speaking to Becky Fuller.

This all makes me very cross and I shal find a route to register a complaint with the appropraite authority.

I have had a text from Becky Fuller and a call from 07802921940 stating he was from CARS and wanted my details. I have no account with a gym, love film or the RAC.

This is quite worrying.

It is not part of a group.     The latest Annual Accounts submitted to Companies House for the year up to 31/12/2011 reported 'cash at bank' of £581,452, 'liabilities' worth £929,046, 'net worth' of £7,053 and 'assets' worth £858,227.     Credit Link Account Recovery Solutions Limited's risk score was amended on 05/10/2012.

this industry needs some sort of regulation, this company is making a living out of harassment with no safety checks.

In my case I have had no known communications prior to their texts saying I owed anybody a penny and as I don't really use credit it seems unlikely that I would.

There were no letters from them prior to the text, just these texts out of the blue, if you contact them they insist on using your first name which is a way of getting the upper hand in my view, when I told them they should use my surname they refused as well refusing to remove my details or disclose why they were texting. I suspect these are also ringing my work phone (not mobile) 6-8 times a day but not leaving any messages as the calls and the sms have commenced at the same time.

The company has a turnover of nearly a million and £500,000 in its account yet discloses assets of only £7,000. To me this looks like a company whose books don't make good sense.

'CA.R.S@ could Mr P Ladeira please contact Becky Fuller URGENTLY on 01256306797 quoting ref. No.XXXXXXX. I never heard about that company before. An internet check leads me to this website. Now I realise that plenty people got some strange sms. What should I do???

I got the text. And to be fair, reading the small print of my gym contract I did owe my final month. My gym had phoned me (albeit when I was busy at work so I hadn't dealt with it). I owed the money. I paid the money.
The guy at the other end was (and he said this) pleasantly surprised by a caller who just said "yep, understand, my credit card details are...." he efficiently processed the transaction and wished me a good day.
It may be the case that some of the calls are illegitimate (and certainly the anonymous, slight scary, tone of the text is not desirable) but the legitimacy arguments are more likely to be a problem with the parent company (i.e. the company you signed up with) than this debt collection agency who have probably just bought up debt at xp in the £1 and are seeking to reclaim the monies.

I have just had a call from this number too! I've not had a fitness first membership in 8 years! It was all paid up so I don't know who this company is. It was an automated voice that left me a voicemail.

I just had a tex to call a number 01256306797 and to ask for Becky fuller saying this is URGENT i put the phone number on the internet and i found out theres loads of people telling me this is a scam ..im not calling them back if i dont know them im not calling them and i would never tell anyone over the phone my informasion

I think we should all ring up with eachothers supposed references and see if despite feeding  bullsh!t addresses we get the same spiel!

Oh and for the record, I have never had a Fitness First membership nor a Love Film one!

Hi i had a text this morning asking could my wife contact Becky Fuller URGENTLY on 01256 306797 Quoting Ref No 5546936, Now my wife has been out of the UK since August last year, How the hell have they got my number & why are they texting me & how would they get my mobile number which i add is a pay as you go & not a contract phone, So out of order.

I also was taken back by this so wasn't sure what to do so I googled Becky Fuller and found this, mmm! Just a bit dodgey then, cheers guys

I called, and spoke to a male who requested the reference number. I asked him what company they were and was told "a finance company". There was no attempt to tell me what company I was calling. I asked to speak to Becky Fuller but was told she was out of the office at the moment. I invited her to call me.

Then I read this thread!! I wonder if the lovely Becky might call.

these scumbags also collect on behalf of bennetts motorbike insurance, they text me 6 - 10 times a day really pissed me off so i called them, they got my details from bennetts motorbike insurance who accidentally passed a £30 dept which i never owed after canceling, i had to call bennetts again to get a ref number for my payment and ask them to contact C.A.R.S.  so lets wait and see.

Just got a text from them they are now using the name Becky Fuller and having read the reports I am ignoring them
