I keep getting calls but I usually ignore them as I don't accept cold calls. I googled the number and got this site, so entered into my call list as "Cold Call". Today "Cold Call" rang and I decided to answer and there was a lot of background noise, music etc. and the caller told me he was from 3. He told me it was about my fair usage and then asked if I was on contract or PAYG. I told him that if he was from 3 he would already know that and started to hang up. As I was hanging up I heard him say something like "I am calling from... ???"

I've started getting these calls today, I went to ring back and it was a voice message and if I didn't want to receive anymore calls to press option 2 which I have done, lets see if it works. I would like to know where they got my number from as I'm with O2 and have never been with 3G as I think they are rubbish.

I'm on o2, got a missed call twice off them last week, nothing since fingers crossed!

got a phone call from this number today, answered and was just silent!! odd! they have been phoning me for the last 2 days.

The same number just rang me but hung up quickly before i had the chance to even see who was calling.
Both my landline and mobile should be blocked via TPS.
But these companies simply ignore that fact.

My question is, are they counting on the hope of me ringing them back as this would negate the fact that I'm on TPS?

I keep getting missed calls from this number, so I've returned the favour.

When I call back the missed number i press 1 quickly and it usually gets answered within 2 seconds, then i hand up. So far on 20 calls, going for 100. They've figure it out now, my number must flash up or something as they arent even saying hello anymore

I work in a Bank where they monitor calls like this and when the customer hangs up it's logged as such and they have to explain why. I hope tomorrow they all get to analyse their increased calls.

They just answered with "is that him?", I guess they know my number now

I wouldnt mind if they left an answerphone but constant missed calls isnt cool

Now Im calling on skype and my phone, then when skype answer im putting that to the phone so they're talking to each other

This number calls 3 times per day but when answered no one speaks they just hang up Its a nuisance, its annoying and it should be stopped!!

This number has been calling me mon-fri about 3/4 times a day, for the past month or so. Ignored most of them. Picked up once by accident when navigating the phone and the caller said they were from 3.

I said I wasn't interested, the guy on the phone was quite assertive and responded by saying that I hadn't even heard what he had to offer. He sprouted more about amazing deals - and I said it was a company number and we were not interested. Then he asked about my personal mobile number, saying they could offer me again, an amazing deal, I continued to say no, and he became relentless to the point he irritated the snot out of me and I hung up.

I continued to ignore calls from this number until today, when I picked up (after forgetting it was 3 and their amazing deals line calling). Again, "but you haven't heard what we have to offer".

Just had a call, saying it was from 3 on my Corporate Work phone (Work for an international corp with its own 078++ number.

Really noisy environment with the woman shouting down the phone, told her it is a corporate number, do you own a private number sir, yes I said 5 some contract some pay as you go, you could hear the Cha-Ching ringing through her head...... so I continued, been with O2 for years, will never change as get a better deal with the boradband and landline because of it....... she was quick to say thanks and move on.

Just before she bailed though I advised on the TPS registration and I suggest she gets my number removed like yesterday.

Think they are based in Llanelli (There is a huge mobile sales to sales company based there)

call me 5 times aday and put the phone down when i say hello

Keep getting numerous missed calls from this number, finally answered and it was 3 asking about my current mobile phone prices, i told them it was number of their business and hung up. the thing is, the mobile they call ends in about 20days. hopefully i wont get anymore from them its extremely annoying

Caller: Scarlet Communications

Telemarketers calling about an exclusive offer from the 3 Network......when I'm not with them.

Its ridiculous - they've called 8 times to day already and its only 3.30pm!  Just call the number back and press '2' to be removed from the call list....  Pain in the a*se.

I have had 4 missed calls from this number today, and have not answered.  I rarely do with numbers or area cards I don't recognise.  I agree with those who've commented on the harrassment aspect of these nuisance calls.....it's a complete violation.

I heard you get charged to call this phone number.... but that's not a fact, so I'm unsure. can anyone enlighten me?
