Report a phone call from 01392353105 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- marieI have had a call of this number but not about isa's or banking. They said they were Scottish power and the guy sounded scottish.
I let him talk he said he was ringing because fI answer a survey from CONSUMER LIFE and had answered yes to possibly reduciing my utility bills..
ha asked if I would change to DD and a couple of other questions. it was when he asked me to confirm the first line of my address and post code, "DON'T YOU HAVE THAT INFORMATION
yes he said i need you to confirm because of data protection.
Excuse me? you rang me asking me questions, yes but I need to know your the person at the property!!!!!!! I said you rang me asking questions and this went on I said i'm not breakingany data protection well he couldn't get off quick enough when I WAS ASKING QUESTIONS...- Caller: SCOTTISH POWER
- DeanCalled mid afternoon. I was at work - left no message
- themadmajorShe started the sales rubbish by stating that they were a proffesional claims management company to which I told her to [***] and put down the phone. I am on the TPS but asking why they called is just met with the claim they have made a mistake or the staff concerned have no idea of the Telephone Preference Scheme.
It is time for prosecutions and the use of the Freedom of Information Act to see just how many prosecutions have happened. Somewho I expect it is absolute Zero. - TheFishermanCall from MCAS, only wanted to speak to partner, but used incorrect name, therefore ignored. Had about 5 of these recently, different companies at times but all using the same incorrect name - suggests its a scam of some sort
- Caller: MCAS
- The Wing CommanderCalled me too, sadly I was working, or I'd have played with them ;) From the contents of the comments I'll expect another call from them - I look forward to it so I can record their scam. When is the law going to stamp down on these idiots?
PS love the comment on page 2 where the callee was asked 'security questions' as that is something that is regularly abused by these scammers, and good advice is to tell them NO.
PPS Even if the caller ID *IS* known, do not trust it, this can be faked all too easily, Any reputable company would not ask you 'security' questions over the phone, unless you're using SRTP or equivalent, the call is not secure.
Checkout my site for recordings of other scam callers, and maybe one from these muppets - Try not to laugh too hard, else you'll have to call an injury claim line or something lol!

- Red Sonia| 1 replyGot a phone call today from 01392 353105 allegedly from the Ministry of Justice saying i'd been missold PPI on my ISA's !! Needed info from me to persue a claim........yeah right.
- Mullion ResAnother unsolicited call, when answered, nobody there.
- Adey26@hot(REMOVE)mail.comI have had 2 calls a day for the the past week or so from this number. Every time it goes dead. I have done a bit of Googling and found a freephone number for them, (which they will be charged for if you ring it). They appear to be EMCAS which is a trading name for EMC Ltd, a PPI claim company. So feel free to engage them in a very long conversation about a PPI claim and then say its not for you. Or you could ring them then hang up when answered. (Of course I don't advocate this type of behavior, but if it happened I wouldn't complain either.)

- fredthis number has called numerous times, when we pick up the line goes dead. getting really annoyed with these calls
- Martin ClarkeI've just spent 45mins on the phone, and having a lot of fun as well. The company is EMC Advisory Services, they have offices in Toquay, Plymouth and Exeter. It was the Exeter office that called me, apparantly.
You are told straight away that they are regulated by the Ministry of Justice and will give you a searchable code (CRM1768). I was told 5 times in the 45mins that they were regulated. The caller was not too happy when I said that, "Other compnaies have been regulated by Ministry of Justice and have scammed people." He seemed unhappy when I said that, "this could be anyone phoning me and claiming to be from EMC Advisory Service."
The caller I had, his name is Niall Cassidy who said he originally was from Torquay but had moved to Exeter. I tried searching his name but came up with nothing. I asked if he was on Facebook, he said he was but I could not find him.
He asked me about stocks and shares and ISA's, which I have. I told him a name of a bank that I may have these with. He came back with some survey down showed that that bank had failed on all 3 checks so it was more than possible that I had been mis-sold. Then he had to ask me personal info. We got as far as my name as the address he had for me is not mine. He could not tell me where he got my information and when I said, "This sounds dubious as you have my name and number yet my address is completely wrong," He went on again about being regulated by Ministry of Justice.
Next up, I said,"well, let's see if this is worth it and then at the end I will give you my address." So he asked for my date of birth, I said, "Let's skip all the personnal info and I'll give it at the end if I'm happy." He needed a supervisor so he could move on, on his computer.
I hang up at this point, and the git called back.
Well then he wanted my account number for my ISA, I said I was unhappy about giving that out. He went on again about Ministry of Justice. Again he pressed for this account number. Then the clincher, I said that I would call my bank about my account and ask them that, "If I give out my account number, is my account still safe?" Niall Cassidy of EMC Advisory Services (apparantly) that is regulated by Ministry of Justice, said that, "the bank are going to tell you that it's unsafe because they don't want you making a claim as they don't want to deal with us. So just give me your number and we'll search it for you."
This maybe true this maybe bull, but for him to keep pushing for my account number and having my address wrong, yet he couldn't tell me where he got my info from, I laughed when he started on about Data Protection as I said, "What Data Protection? I have never given out my number as I don't do surveys or tick boxes on forms that say if I want to be contacted. I am careful about this sort of stuff.
Best advice, just hang up or if your mischeivious, have fun like I had, just be careful what you say to them.- Caller: EMC Advisory Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Sally YoungStrange call today no one there
- fredboatsGot a call from something like emcas mentioning shares and bad advice about banking etc. It has suddenly got worse as if I have been added to a mugs list. Has TPS not got powers to do something about this. There should be one central place to report these calls so that they could speak on behalf of all of us to make TPS clamp down on them. I use whoever Google says has had most complaints about the number and it is usually whocallsme so.
Its getting beyond a joke and TPS should take action. Has anybody got TPS's phone number / email so we could all phone them to make them enforce the law.- Caller: 01392 353105 Exeter ?
- DonaldAs previously reported, this was a call about stock-market related investements, with a view to filing a mis-selling case.
They said they had got my details from a consumer survey, and I have had calls from such people, so it is likey to be true.
Mostly I tell the surveyors a load of rubbish, and clearly it gets passed on to the financial ambulance chasers.- Call type: Telemarketer
