- KieranI was cold called by this company and after speaking to the boy and looking at their website I decided they are a legit company. I simply went through the assessment to see if I was eligible and was told I had a case for compensation. They sent me a information broshure and some form which I signed and sent back. About 4/5 months later I was sent a check for some money I was apparently owed from some sort of miss-selling. So I have no complaints. To be honest had they not cold called me in the first place I wouldn't have got any money back so I don't mind really. I asked him where he got my number from n it was from a survey that I had done a few weeks earlier. There's no point in being rude as its only people trying to earn a living I know from experience as I used to work in a call centre selling windows.

- sherlock replies to Red SoniaI, too, got a call from them claiming they were from the Ministry of Justice doing a survey re inverstment asdvice and did I feel that I had been given poor advice. I said been with same advisor for last 15 years achieving better than rate of inflation after tax. Other advisors had called, i.e. re things like carbon credits. I usually ask them to put there speel in an e mail, when I reply to them I send copy to FSA Fraud Operations, the gentleman concerned put the phone down pdq
- TathecatI just had a call from this number. Luckily I missed it but they've called before -
I recognise the number.
I hate nuisance calls. I've registered my number twice over last 12 months in order to prevent these types of calls, so not sure why I'm still getting them.

- gillroyMy partner answered a call from this number at 4.00pm on thursday. A very cocky man insisted on speaking to me. When asked what it was concerning the caller claimed that I had rang them a regarding finance the day before. As we had only returned that day from a week in Dorset my partner told him he was lying. The call ended right there!!!!

Compliance & Customer Services Manager - Old Mother Riley replies to Lewis| 1 replyIf you check with the Information Commissioner you will find that in regard to the complaints posted above you are on the wrong side of the Data Protection Act.
Whatever the source of your data, as its User you bear the responsibility and the fines or other consequences of your own actions.
Take the time to check, please.
It applies to all of the numbers you use. Do I need to post this against each entry? - Nan replies to Old Mother RileyWell said. One of his colleagues hasposted on another of their numbers, so they must be site trawling. I have asked him if they will be complying with the new Consumer Law which came into force on 8th April, 2013. This says that PPI and Accident Claim companies cannot sign people up over the 'phone. They have to send out paperwork and get a signed agreement before they can proceed. They also cannot take a payment or bank/card details at first call. As this lot are breaking the law with regard to cold calling, they probably won't be complying with this one either.

Indeed, we are campaigning and working with several bodies to drive higher standards of practice across the Claims Management Industry.

We actively encourage people to engage with us; if you or anyone else, have any questions about who we are or what we do, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

This is just a forum for logging unknown, unwanted and scam calls and sharing information. You need to a) contact the company direct and b) report them to the Information Commissioner's Office.
