Yup it is Westcot Debt collectors,bought a repo property and keep getting "hand" written postcards asking me to call Chris.Sneeky.

One of the four companies named in instigating the suicide of Beryl Brazier (google the name).  Do NOT pay this company one penny, and give them the opportunity to instigate another such tragedy again.

Don't just take my word for it.  Go the the debt collection industry forum thread on the Consumer Action Group website, and see what Wescot are like for yourself.

I too received a hand written postcard, asking me to call Alice Roberts on the number 01482 380689, strangely enough the postcard didn't have my name on the address side but instead had "The Occupier" -- WTF ??.

It is Westcot Debt collectors, they are a bunch of chancers and I completely ignore them, they list a "return address" for their postcard as PO Box 137, HULL, HU2 8HF.

They have also called me from the number 01482 590500 but I set my Truecall system to reject it.

I also recieved said postcard and after reading posts here, have ripped it up.. It was addressed to The Occupier. If they truely knew who they were addressing these to they would have a valid name on them.

i also received a card addressed to "THE OCCUPIER" it seemed suspicious having no name. this has also been disposed of. seems expensive game to post. glad i came onto this site

also received said card must be crackers paying uk mail to deliver. mine also said the occupier. another one for the bin

I got one this morning, Confused? Had to take the magnifing glass out to read the company as 2F Arghhh?  Whose it for really?  Me, old owners who?

Who??? So glad I checked out their number. This site is invaluable. I didnt get a call - but one of those stupid "handwritten" cards to "occupier" - How Dare They!  Please God, no one ever calls them after getting a card - if they get your name/DOB/address - your life will not be worth living...  See also the post from    'A Non E Mouse' that I'm pasting again here to keep at the forefront...

Sneaky postcards on cheap paper asking for "the occupier" to call Alice

I had exactly the same i got a postcard so i decided to ring and investigate they asked for my sister name and said they had tried to contact through her old address which she told me so i asked what it was regarding they would not tell me so i told my sister to ring and find out but give no details and it was about her lloyds tsb bank account she had gone over her overdraft by £250 and they have tried to contact her for a few years and she lives different places and has no set address.... they asked if she could pay the full amount but she asked for a payment card and details which they said they are sending in the post... so i will see how [***] this really is....

got this post card second class stamp on it was addressed to "the occupier"
on the other side it has the words "pleas call alex on 01482 380689 then gives a reference number ref:126203090 ALA  
i believe this is a scam to get you to runn up a big phone bill or some other sort of scam

yes this the same with me i called and just comfirmed they no longer live at this address

YES I GOT ONE OF THESE POST CARDS, LOOKS AT FIRST AS IF IS HAND WRITTEN ON CLOSER INSPECTION YOU CAN SEE THAT IT'S PRINTED.  ADDRESSED TO THE OCCUPIER?  "PLEASE CALL CLAIRE" on 01482 380689 REF: ---------.  Please don't waste your money phoning this number just one more big Scam, if you do make the mistake of calling them don't give them any info about yourself. Only good for the compost bin.

got a card as above today rang them, Polite man answered explaining they needed to contact my daughter removed my address from database and I informed daughter to contact them. Not really sinister. Clever use of the script on post card. In all honesty if you mount up debts it is your responsibility to honour them.

these pondlife are lower than a rattlesnakes belly , BIN only place for this sort of rubbish .

If i could get my hands on these clowns i would make sure they never sent anyone this crap any more. Scandalous
