These jokers rang me on my mobile but left no message

I was called today by this number too... I rang the number back and it said 'You were called today by Orange, this is nothing to worry about and we call you back at a later date'.

They called today, said they were Orange, and were very persistent in trying to sell me options to our BT landline and Vodafone mobiles.   Would not take "no, thank you" as an answer, even though I said I had no interest in disturbing our present efficient business landline/broadband/mobile system just to save a few pence a week!
I put the phone down in the end, and made a note to take Orange off the list of suppliers when our present phone contracts come up for renewal....

2 calls today on my mobile (one after 6pm) but no message left. I plan never to answer these sales calls.

Was called on landline 30/07/2012 at 18:34. Answered with last 4 digits of number (I get a lot of scam/spam calls). Silence. Repeat number. Silence, then line was dropped and dialling code returned. Checked here and find it is Orange, my ISP who have been trying to sell me a different package without explaining exactly what I will be gaining or losing. Confirm by ringing number and getting the 'don't worry' message mentioned above.
Sales lady rings this morning and I explain forcefully that I do not appreciate getting a nuisance call from them. She promises to take my name of their dialling list.
I'll be back if the calls continue.

PS 'Prank' calls as on the drop down list below are from kiddies. From adults in companies that should have responsible business practices silent calls are 'nuisance' calls and reflect on the company.

missed a call from this number earlier today - thanks to this website i'll know not answer it.

It is Orange trying to sell their broadband/phone packages.
They do not take no for an answer and although they say they will not try again they do. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
I have considered changing supplier even though loss of my email account would be a pain

I receive calls from this number almost daily.
I have yet to hear anything other than the call
being disconnected.

3 times iv'e received a call fom this number today i don't speak neither do they and then they hang up.

Please could somebody deal with this caller, Nobody talks they just hang up,

My mum has just got off the phone from them after 15mins, she said no repeatedly but they wouldn't take no for an answer...

I have 2 phone from different network, this idiot called me on another network and said his from Orange and seconds later he told me that our conversation will be recorded for quality purposes and he ask me what was my Orange phone number and l told him that if you are calling from Orange you should know what my number is and l told him that l dont have time for this nonsence, and l can hear him saying ghhhssss!!!

Do not trust this peope as they might get your information just pretending to be someone they are not.

They are very persistant, after several phone calls and now several unanswered calls (because I know the number off by heart), I am changing suppliers.  For no other reason than the fact that they are driving me mad!

Had a couple of calls from this number, both times caller stated he was calling from ORANGE, my ISP and offering an upgraded Router and Landline package. I asked caller to e-mail me the details as I was at work and couldn't discuss the matter with him. He did send me an e-mail, which came through as if it was from Orange, but when I viewed the e-mail properties it showed it had come from a company called "Clear Answer Systems" who are a call-centre/telemarketing company (albeit they claim to do work for Orange). May be legitimate as Orange may sub-contract this company to perform telemarketing for them.

so far today this number has called 4 times, 6 times yesterday, leaving to answerphone and shock horror they don't leave a message!!

I had an annoying phone call from Orange today.  OK, my broadband is with Orange - but have NO issues with it at all, only issues I sometimes have are due to the fact that my PC is very old and dodgy (can't afford to replace and have no worries about it).  He said "Calls were being recorded", but I had to repeat myself twice with every question (perhaps selective hearing) until he started talking about changing my account.  Only pay £10 a month, so god knows why I need it any cheaper.  When I stated, quite rightly and honestly, that my parents were responsible for the bills (including telephone which he wanted to change) he got quite funny.  "Your parents", he said in a "what the f are you talking about" voice.  I had to repeat that 4 times.  Then got quite forceful and wanted to know when my PARENTS (in a loud voice) would be available to speak to.  Funny thing is, until I stated my parents were responsible he talked to me as an adult (I'm 42 but have problems with mobility so moving out isn't doable) but when he realised he wasn't talking to the "right" person, he talked to me as if I was a child.  Disgusting and if that call was recorded I hope his "supervisors" bring him up on his attitude!
