Lots of silent calls from this number - if it is Orange I already have their broadband!?

I got a call from them twice yesterday and once today I just said I've the wrong number

Still getting sales calls from these guys. Lots of silent messages on my answerphone when I get in.

Pretend to be orange but they are not and they are a pain and dont seem to understand I am not interested. If they were from Oarnage they would now more about me that the fishing tactis they use

Its Orange, they call a lot. I let them go through all the spiel then happily announce that I'm not the bill payer in this house. They wanna waste my time? I will waste theirs too lol

This number called me this afternoon at 13.29pm giving me my name in full, saying they were from an agency and wanted to discuss the time I worked for Marks and Spencers. I have never worked for M&S! As soon as I started asking them questions, they hung up.

I got a missed call from them today. But they will get short shrift from me if they keep on calling me!

3 calls from this number in as many days. As soon as I realise these unwanted/unsolicited calls are from a persistent caller such as this one appear to be, I don't say anything - I just leave the handset off the cradle until I hear the disconnect tone ad hope it was costing them money UNTIL then!! he-he

I have had 5 calls from them today already. The irony of them attempting to sell me broadband and land line is that Im already an orange mobile customer and I have actually signed up to their service and asked them to move everything to them from my existing supplier.

they still haven't managed to do it some 4 months after I signed up with them. Useless company and I will  be a looking elsewhere when my mobile contract is up.

I cannot believe these people are still phoning me 2 to 3 times a day

All callers not in my phonebook go straight to ansafone.
They declined to leave a message

I was called by this number don't know who it is and no message was left

2 calls today one after 6pm, no message and refused to say what it was about to person who answered phone .!!! Who was woken by them after a night shift!!!!!!!

It's Orange now part of EE but still run as distinct from tmobile. They wanted me to answer a questionaire for them after changing phone and broadband from them to Virgin. I suspect there would have been an attempt at getting me to go back to them as he asked whether I'd been offered any incentives to stay with Orange!
Perhaps if they had at the time I wouldn't have gone but all they were going to do was put the price up.

A woman left heavy breathing and coughing on my answering phone today.

These calls are a pain in the bum. Been getting them for weeks now usually about tea time. They will not leave any answer phone messages. I have tried in the past to explain that I am not interested in their 'offers' but the calls continue. Really peed off.

This number has been persistently calling me for every day for the past week.

I am often at work when they ring and I don't answer calls at work unless I know who they are from - everything else can wait as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, I finally picked up today. There were a few seconds of silence with me going "Hello?", but then it connected and a woman asked if it was me then said, "This call may be recorded. I'm calling from Orange, to tell you we're upgrading your broadband package to fibre optic". I do actually have Orange broadband so I let her continue. She then started asking me a bunch of questions like, "What do you use your broadband for?" and I got a bit wary. I asked her how I knew she was genuinely from Orange and she laughed and said quite rudely, "Well go on, ask me anything and I'll give you the answer!". I told her I wasn't interested in sales calls and asked her to remove me from her list and she said, again quite abruptly, "But this isn't a marketing call - it's an information call to tell you about an upgrade. There's no need to be suspicious." She said she would call me back another time as she could tell I wasn't keen to talk.

I'm not really sure what to do about this - from reading on here it seems Orange are trying to sell packages whereas she made it sound as if it was a free upgrade (there was certainly no mention of price, just "we're going to upgrade you"). But I'm thinking if that were the case surely they'd send me a letter about it...?

Still bothering me. Can't seem to stop the calls.
