They want to give current broadband customers, line rental and calls. Steal it off the other provider some times for a cheaper price some times you have the best deal possible keeping it split. I know because I used to work there. It's not a scam it's just a sales team at ee.

I too am fed up with these calls. When I first got them my husband had just been diagnosed with cancer so I said I wasn't prepared to talk about upgrading. They said they would call back and notify me by email. I said not to bother but it hasn't stopped them. I said to the last one that I wasn't going to be rushed into anything until I had checked my figures. Again he insisted that he would call back in a few days to give me time to check out what I am paying now. They are just not prepared to give up, presumably because they earn commission on every one they sign up.

I've had SO many calls from this number and several others that they use with the same prefix. They claim to be from EE but I have contacted EE and they've assured me they have nothing to do with this company and have not shared my details with any marketing company as per my request, so how these scammers know my details is beyond me. I have reported them so many times to the TPS but still nothing is done about them; my elderly Mum almost got caught out by them when they harangued her constantly to.

A section 10 notice maybe the way forward for most.

Tele sales can buy 01482 numbers for as little as £15 and attach that number to the existing number

I have had 4 calls from this number today on my mobile.  I have their number blocked so the call doesn't actually come through now but I get a text saying I missed their call.  I am not with EE (nor Orange or T-Mobile) though I do have EE home broadband.  I am not interested in any sales/marketing calls and I will not answer them.

An update: I had 6 calls in total from this company yesterday and two today.  Fortunately I still have the number blocked so they cannot get through.  I did ring the number from one of our office extensions, a recorded message announced that I had been called by EE and a representative would ring back shortly.
