If your illiterate post is, indeed, from the company being complained about and not a hoax, I can understand why people would believe it is a scam.  What legitimate company would encourage people to use obscenities to its staff?

Get calls from this number at all hours of the day .

I've reported these fraudulent calls to the Kingston upon Hull phoneline company, as suggested by "OldMother Riley" above.

Its not a scam they work on behalf of EE they are only trying to save you money but for you not to answer thats your loss!!!

They're from Hull up north, not the very lovely Kingston-upon-Hull, hope this helps you.  Peace.

You said it "on behalf of companies such as Orange and EE", but instead you call us pretending to actually be from Orange, your wording not mine.  Then like a moron, your sales donkey asks me to confirm my email address and my cell number which you would know if you were from Orange.  If Orange ever call me, 1st of all they call my cell number not my house, then for security they ask for the first two letters of my password which I'm happy to give.
You also said "If we call you by mistake, annoy you, waist your time, or you do not wish to be contacted, just simply tell us to F**k Off!"  You don't call by mistake you call very deliberately and I have told you to [***] off, 3 times now but still you come.
For your attention, just so you know, my combined landline & broadband monthly cost is £11. You would never in a million years beat that offer so for the 4th time, [***] off!!!!

But that's exactly my point, you would never be able to beat the £11 a month a pay in total for my landline & broadband, I did mention it to one of the sales donkeys, but still they come.  Costs you 8p everytime you make a wasted call to mine, So, your loss!!!!!

This number 01482971048 phones my landline multiple times every day. I never answer but it's very annoying because they let it ring for ages before hanging up.......Now I know it's a scam I might answer and tell them where to go.

They're from EE, 5days ago I was looking at BB/ LL deals using U switch comparison site, says offers for EE, orange and T mobile users, must be ok on comp site &my son told me that O and T M are now part of EE, I asked using chat a few questions about one of there offers, apparently if your with EE/O/TM you get a discount, I was asked if I wanted the deal, said needed to discuss with son, within 5 mins someone phoned me, I explained needed to talk to my son, he kept telling me" it's easy to change you or your son don't need to do anything just give me some details & they do the rest bla bla bla" 3 times I snapped told him I would get in touch IF I wanted the deal, 2 more calls that night, told them the same, they're script must say just keep repeating " to " 4/5 times, my son said NO,next day they rang I said NO I don't want it,I was asked why, that it's a good deal &" to " a few times, asked them not to phone again, they've rung a couple times each day since if you don't answer they try 3/4 times straight away,when you answer & tell them Not interested hang up they ring back, really fed up now do they think if they carry on I will give in.  He mentioned BT

I told this company back in September I wasn't interested in a regrade and asked them not to call me again. They've obviously ignored me as I've had 6 missed calls from them in the last week alone! EE are aware I've refused a regrade after calls from these cowboys and have made a complaint about them and it looks like another set of complaints will be going to TPS etc. oh, and it'll be another number now blocked by Choose to Refuse :-)

I have recently received sales calls from EE wanting me to swap my telephone line rental to EE , the first few times
I just declined , I am now getting 3 to 4 sales calls a day from 01482971048 . They will not take no for an answer
and are rude and unprofessional .
I Am sure I'm not the only one receiving these or is it common as an EE mobile and broadband customer ? I have been with
orange for awhile now, but on the next contract renewal should these sales calls continue ,I will find nother provider , surely someone at EE realizes nuisance calls multiple times a day does no good for the brand . If they continue I will also contact every statutory body and consumer dept in the media.

this number rings everyday at around 12.30pm. I do not answer.

Company purporting to be from Orange/EE phoned my elderly mum and was pressurising her to change her broadband package and phone line to Orange. Had to tell her to hang up as the person was not taking no for an answer.

I checked the number 01482971048 that I  have myself been receiving endless calls from it is charged at Local rate if you ring back.Low and behold it is Talk Talk that answered it.Trying to sell broadband **Result** They say they are looking into it **

3 calls whilst out. Checked number on web to find telemarketing complaints. Unwanted.

I am constantly getting this 01482971048 call and I am unable to speak to them cos I am profoundly deaf and unable  to use the phone.. how can I make them stop calling me !!!
