this number keeps calling me every 30 mins driving me bonkers

It might be annoying but it's not fraud, so please don't try to log things like this on the Action Fraud website. Action Fraud is for reporting crimes involving fraud and has absolutely nothing to do with regulation or prosecution of nuisance phone calls or marketing. The number you're being called by is used by EE (Orange/T-Mobile) customer services and the call centres that they outsource their customer services to.

Keep getting calls from this number! So annoying! Should use that number and subscribe them to really nasty sites and get bombed themselves!

Basically there is a company in hull called lv3 they buy so many mins and broadband off companies and sell it to their customers they are vile they are rude and manipulating and herassers  if you are going to complain to ee I would recommend you find out if this company is hounding you on ee behalf
I've tried all routes to complain but off com won't help me if it turned out to be them if enough of us complain something may be done. This number has hounded me for 1 week I've had 17 missed calls I won't pick up incase it's lv3

So Can 100% block this no.
Besides that...If someone can't leave a message on my Answering Machine?...I wonder what they have to hide!?
Changed from Orange  Recently (which was bad enough re CustomerServices) to EE (which is Attrocious!)
So this call (be it from,an intermediate company or not) is just Another load of Cheek from them & As they've Forfeited the New Contract with Me..I'll be Cancelling asap!
(Either way They won't be calling me again)

Received a call from this number today (21-5-15) at 1800hrs. They said they were ringing about my broadband service from EE just to make sure it was all up and running. I said yes but I had been having some speed problems.  He seemed quite unprepared for my question, and asked me to hold whilst he put me through to his colleague. The colleague then left me on hold for quite a while. Whilst I was on hold (listening to music), I noticed that the music didn't interject with the obilgatory EE message which I thought was strange.  As I was sitting at my PC at the time, I promptly googled the phone number. . . .  And the rest, is history.

I wouldn't mind so much if they actually spoke to me, but what is point of ringing and ringing then putting phone down as soon as I answer? A. They are wasting their own time B. They are wasting MINE C. If they are wanting my business they won't get it at all if they hang up. Will attempt to bar calls from this and similar 01482 numbers.

yup me too been having these calls since i dropped ee broadband - they never leave a message though and when you try to dial them it does say that it was an Orange representative that tried to csll you

This number has been calling for weeks several times a day.  Have now blocked the number.

i strongly believe they are a scam as the package to save me money was more expensive that what I'm on now, so don't give them any info.

Calls and text from this number stating they are calling from EE and my 'broadband offer' is about to expire and will increase to £40 per month. This is an out right lie!  They couldn't even tell me what my current 'offer' was.  They didn't know the discount has already expired and I am more than happy with the deal is have (£25 per month!) Claimed to be EE clearly not.

Ditto I've just left Orange yesterday and got this number calling me ,this morning ,didn't answer but no doubt I'll hear from them again .

Caller stated he was from EE and proceeded to ask about renegotiateing my EE contract, but clearly could not see my account details.

My phone rings my mobile, and it rings 1,2 or 3 times the stops and the caller never leaves a message.
I have had this number 01482971048 call me around 20 times now.
The area code is from the Hull area of the UK but I cannot trace the caller or company.

Was called today, with a northern accent, purporting to be from EE, wanting "to ensure I was on the best deal" but would need my details to ensure I was genuine!

I have had several calls from this number on my mobile phone.  I have not answered them

Many calls from this number but we never get to answer, as we don't hear them. We use a BT 8500 call guardian system that screens all of our calls. Any number not on our list has to announce themselves, if not, the phone doesn't ring. Peace and uninterrupted evenings.

Since the 13th November 2015 I have had ten unsolicited calls from this number.
When they kept ringing I did some online investigating and found the number belonged to a call centre run by Clearanswer UK.

I complained to the Telephone Preference Service, online, and they replied that they have contacted Clearanswer and I should not be bothered again.  I have had no further calls.

These people are telemarketing for EE they call constantly but I stopped answering after the first call as I'm not even with EE. I have read other reports which say that EE take no responsibility for these people and can do nothing about it. So if that's the kind of attitude they have I'm glad I cancelled my contract when it ended.
