I have just had a missed call from this number.
I never answer numbers i dont know but what puzzles me is how do these companies get your number???
I have had the same number for years and over the past 2yrs the number of cold calls/scam calls is ridiculous...even to the point of wanting to change my number!

My husband answered their call got confused, luckily my daughter took the phone and was quite rude to them, but now we have checked I,m glad she was rude.

had call from someone said they were sky re maintenance..... I'm not with sky.... so he hung up.

10 mins later had call asking to speak to me then he hung up.....obviously checking as didnt believe me.

liverpool accent too.. is there a way to stop all this cold calling at door and phone.... think the govenment need to get involved and pass a law..... any info out there appreciated as best way to stop all these it takes up so much of the day... hanging up on people..

Called but they left no message.  Dialled 1471 and then googled them and found out that they should be avoided.

Phoned up and young lady with a scouse accent ask for me by name. I asked ''who's calling please'' and she then hung up the phone. Shame really as didn't I get a change to string her along and then verbally abuse her before hanging up myself. Some people just won't play ball!!

Yes can confirm... bunch of rip off merchants making out there from SKY and then getting nasty when you start to ask questions. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Had call from DML very suspicious as he asked me if I was still at the same address which he had for me I confirmed yes then he asked how many boxes I had. Found that odd as surely they would know? Wanted £89 for some sort of cover which I as far as I know have never had from Sky. Told him I wasn't interested and he went on about how expensive a call out would be. I said was thinking of cancelling and he just hung up! Sky say these people are not authorised by themselves and do not give out personal information to them.

Just had a call from this number went to answer machine, no message, checked on here before returning call, glad I did thanks

This is a scam, tried to say they were sky protect, that charges had gone upand needed my bank details. Contacted Sky who said it was a scam and sky dont ring to get bank details. Beware.

rang today asking asking my nan for £89 pounds for sky cover. sky have never rang for cover in all the time we've been with them. they send a letter out.
handed over details and we are trying to close the account.

I had a call about 13:30 today from this number, but no message. As I run a business and thought it might be a potential client so I rang them back and found they were called Digital Maintenance. They said it must have been their sales team calling about maintenance of my digital equipment for Sky or Freeview (I think she meant FreeSat).
When I told the receptionist I had no such equipment, she apologised for the inconvenience. I simply asked that she take my number off their list and she said she would do so.

I have now matched the number to a phonebook directory on my DECT handset (Scumbag), which will alert me if they ever call again, Simples!

Called today, seemed very polite but I am instantly suspicious. Told me my 12 months free cover had expired and 'I needed to renew', after telling him that I didn't and had no intention of taking out any cover, he said 'alright mate' and put the phone down. Have now saved the number under ‘scam call’ with the ring tone from Monty Python’s Flying Circus as an aide memoire.

Sky insure repairs through Domestic and General. This company told me that D&G contract out Sky Box repairs to them. I don"t know if this is true.

I had TWO calls, one from this number, one from 0871 2210030 within the space of ten minutes. The second call DENIED being connected to the first and said they were another company in the same area. Total rubbish.

I used to live in Liverpool and although there are some great people they have an above average quota of conmen. And yes, I am well travelled.

had a cold call from these the other day when i was asleep in the day ( night worker ) and i ignored it as i don't have cover for sat equipment! So i knew it was nonsense I'm also like other on TPS and ex directory and would like to also know how they have obtained my telephone contact details really annoying and i have reported them to of com today also

Just had a call from this number to 'renew my sky warrenty' which had expired on 18.11.11 (i've had the box 18months).  I said this all sounds strange as I've been calling sky since Oct as my sky+ won't record and I've been told my only option is to buy a new box, i was told, if i renew today then they could fix it.  When I asked for his name and company name, he hung up!  Called back the number and when explained the phone call i had just had, they hung up again.

Tried to convince me that my SKY satellite equipment maintenance contract was due for renewal.

No it isn't.  We pay by Direct Debit.  It is renewed automatically !

Just anwsered a call from this number .. asking for my Girlfriend, after explaining that she was not here, would you like to leave a message the *ehem* "lady" on the other end of the line abruptly said "NO!!!!" and put the phone down. glad to have been curious about this number now lol.  Thanks for all the info guys!

I had a missed call from this number so i rang it back, and they answered the phone as Digital Maintenance, was a liverpudlian man that answered the phone, no idea how they got my number as im ex directory and registered with TPS.
