Had a call off this company; said I do believe this company was prosecuted in the past and appeared on Watchdog. Their appearance on Watchdog again cannot come soon enough.

Another company trying to con me by cold calling!  They won't as I never answer my phone but let the answerphone deal it - easy to pick receiver up if I want to speak to the person.

Just gat a call from these guys. Never been with Sky. Told them this and said I was with someone else. He said what Virgin?. I said yes he then said best you stay with them and appologised for interupting me. before I could ask where he had got my number from he hung up

This number called me last year & I told them where to go then! They phoned again last week and when I looked at my caller display I didn't even answer the phone. I have however had another couple of strange numbers calling me.  I think if you have caller display and you don't recognise the number just ignore it, if it is something genuine they will leave a message. They are horrible scumbags who prey on people to get cash.  As if there is not enough to deal with financially at the moment.

Had a couple of missed calls from this number recently. I answered to them yesterday, and they knew my name. I ask what they wanted and  'Michael', the caller told me he was ringing about my Sky television. I asked him if he was from Sky, and he hung up. Rang Sky, and its nothing to do with them, but they think its a company trying to flog worthless warranties for Sky boxes.

They called today. I'm elderly and a little hard of hearing. As my AA cover was due for renewal I thought it was them. They knew my name and asked for my bank sort code and account number which like a bloody fool, I gave them. They said they would phone back in 15 minutes to set up a password (they didn't). A few minutes later I had doubts and used 1471 which gave me their number which I dialed. A woman answered and I said there was a mistake. She said, don't worry, I'll cancel it. Still doubting I googled the number which brought me to this useful site. Alarmed, I phoned my bank and a block is now in place should these crooks try to take money from my account. I then phoned the 1414 number again. Same woman answered. I told her that I now know they are operating a scam and that my bank has been warned, so don't think of trying anything. She just quietly replied OK and hung up.

i recieved a call from this number yesterday at 6pm, turned out to be a lady from digital maintainance ltd, she explained why she was calling and to my surprise she offered me a maintenance agreement for my satellite equipment that was much cheaper and better than any of these other companies! i took out the cover and look forward to their services.

Had a call the offer was good, I now have to cancel everything with my bank, I feel stupid, don't get taken in by this Crowd they are a load of plebs.

Just had a call from this number pretending to be from sky 0151 547 1414 - name of Tanya -gave me a load of untrue nonsense about sky cover having expired - after my bank account details within a few minutes - beware!

I  too had a call from this company, insinuating they were Sky, and that I had problems with equipment,I needed to renew my contract...? I told them I was registered with TPS and didn't want any calls,if they were a reputable company they would know this... the 'rottweiler' at the end of the phone insisted I wasn't registered with them or they wouldn't have my number, had the cheek to tell me that I had to update my registration every year, I told her that I was sick of pratts like her telling me that, when you don't, I have already checked in the past when I have been fobbed off with that excuse, YOU DON"T HAVE TO RENEW YOUR REGISTRATION, she said she knew you did as she used to work for them...! I asked for her phone number, she gave it to me, 0151 547 1414,I said that isn't Sky number, she said she never said she was SKY... reported her to TPS.

Got phone call from them,said they were from sky protect and I needed to renew my sky insurance,I was still a bit groggy as I had just wakened up,thinking they were from sky I told them to go ahead and renew my sky insurance,I paid £75 for the year now can't seem to get I touch with them,Tried to email them but their web sight is down,Sent them a letter a week ago still no reply,Don't know what to do now,more fool me.
