Got a call from these people 13.30 today, same speil,we dont have any of this kind of stuff, wife gave the woman short-shrift, weve had a lot of trouble with scammers in the past. If they are scammers you would think they would have the wit to block the number!

Called earlier, claimed to be from SKY requesting I renew insurance cover on SKY box.  Cannot renew as I did not have it in the first place and secondly have cancelled sky services anyway.  Sky do not normally call from this type of number they are normally 0800 I believe or 0844 I think

Cold call saying my Sky warranty was coming to an end - FALSE - don't have one.  Said 'Not interested' and she hung up likr grease lightening, SCAM SCAM SCAM

I answered the phone in my normal 44yr old male voice to be asked if i was Mrs 1876..."do i sound like her?" i asked...."i dont know ive never spoken to her'...."well what do you think the answer is then"  ... " well is she in?"....are you cold calling i asked ... "yes"...then f*** off.

Said they were a company called DML and my Sky cover had come to an end, and they needed to set up next years cover.

I do have cover, but it is automatically renewed every year, so this made me suspicious. I am sure that they would have gone on to collect my bank details. There must be innocent people that have been duped by this. They have to be stopped.

Had a call today although 1471 revealed 'caller did not give their number' Usual stuff about renewing Sky Breakdown cover but interestingly I am not nor ever have been a Sky customer. When asked where they got my details I was told 'A data company' but was not told any more I hung up at this point to save my blood pressure!!!

Funny that, seems as this company was closed for business from the 23rd of December untill the 3rd of January

Just had a call from these, be aware. It's a scam. Called my bank and blocked the company from taking any money.

It is a scam call about Sky cover, they tell you it is due to run out and ask for your bank details to take a one off paymemnt.

just had a call - this is the second call I have had today from cold callers - didn't answer either of them as have caller display but both showed up on this site! Great site :)  If I do take a call I report it to the TPS - but that never seems to stop more coming! I just don't bother answering now. I think a lot of people will stop taking calls on their landlines because of this - not sure how to block calls - but will be looking into it!

Constantly ringing. Next time Im going to pick phone up and just leave it off the hook for a few minutes. Run up their bill for a bit. They might stop calling then!

Woman from Liverpool ["Kelsea"] called from this number today, 25.1.12.  said Sky maintenance had expired and I had to set up a DD with Digital Maintenance - from 8.2.12, first payment £25 to include admin costs then £7.59 a month for a year, gave me a policy number.  Wanted bank account number and account no.  Said "Tony" from Head Office would call to get a Password frome me shortly.  Said would email details and I could cancel.  I called back, no. shown unobtainable initially, saw Google stuff about this comopany.  Called my bank and they have put a stop on any DD unless they get personal confirmation from me.

I called the firm and another Liverpool girl answered, sounded remarkably like the first but denied it was her!  Told her to send me this email (so I could see it) and she said it was normally sent out the next day by "Michelle" but that she would send it now.  Had my name against the Policy no. -  am awaiting develoments, very interested in the comments above.  Queried why their website not working (under maintenance, being built)...  Their M.O. is to call when you are busy and press to get it done now.  They also maintain its a Verbal Agreement, you are bound - Not so, without a signature the bank will not set up a DD...

Will check with Sky that this indeed is a scamming outfit.

Extremely pushy scouser trying to bully me into buying Sky box insurance cover.

When asked why he was breaking the law (we have opted out under the telephone preference scheme), he told me agressively that his job "wasn't to sit here and answer questions".  Maybe he should have a chat with someone (probation worker?) about alternative career options.

This number called me! Gave a name! Tanya! Said it was Sky Protect, but I knew they wouldn't be calling me for bank details, so queried this, and person hung up! This needs to be stopped, but who can do this?

Had a call tonight around tea time and they asked for me husband, asking if we had sky equipment stated that we dont have sky caller hung up.

Yes they are selling digital equipment abd mentioned sky, don't why they hung up abruptly could be me mentioning i can't get sky .............not a scouser this guy but still a chancer

Just had missed call from this number, had Sky box installed recently by Liverpudlian - looks like they're selling customer details in pubs.

Got called by this number, when I answered there was no response and then after a few seconds they hung up.  Called the number back and it was a company called "Digital Maintenance Limited"

Just had a call from this lot, calling themselves Digital Maintenance. As soon as they said they were calling about my Sky Satellite equipment I just rang off. Googling their name will show you lots about what they do, and it isn't maintaining anything you care about.
