Ive had 6 calls from 01613549907 but i answer and nobody is there then i call it but it hangs up?

Had a call from 0161-2436-5987 on Jan 5 2018 and when answered they just hung up.  Have you noticed that these scam calls only come on your land line and not on a cell phone?  There must be some explanation to this.  I get more calls of this type than I can count.

Says it’s a Solicitors office who needs me to call them urgently as they have been trying to get in contact with me about a claim ( which as far as I’m aware I don’t have an ongoing claim) They supposedly have been trying to contact me for some time.
Called number back twice on land line before I thought it could be a hoax . No one answered.

Annoying call 34 times today.Block doesn`t work

I keep getting calls from 0161 then when I answer they hang up, I'm getting fed up.

I had 7 calls from this no yesterday.

Keep getting calls from 0161number at least 3 times a day also a 020 number we don't answer as I don't know anyone with these codes & they don't leave a message,.very annoying!! Scams, cold calls also had one from someone making out they were from telltale & my line would be cut off! Didn't give them chance just put phone down on them.😀

just answer as normal then when they start speaking let rip with a very loud high pitched noise , maybe they'll stop calling me when they are deaf

They call my cell

0161 99323486 called me today @ 4:14pm. I seen this wired  number and i  i answered the phone said hello about 5 times and no one responded then they just hung up. Dont know what they want but think it could be scamers.( when this happens turn your modem and computer off just to be on the safe side.

This person shouted and called me a lier he told me I had a car accident rubbish I've not had a accident

Been receiving calls from these numbers 016193501551 and 019044971148. The moment you try to answer, will automatically hung up

I keep getting calls from this number, and when I answer nobody speaks, it's very annoying,  and I want it to stop!. I googled and asked which area this number was based and it said its to do with business in the greater man her area.

Have had calls from this number 0161 9745978 every day for two weeks, never left message and no reply when I ring back, only started after a car insurance claim. Could there be a link?
