I work for a local authority and for some reason they keep calling my extension number.

These people phone don't speak and harass consistently
I have never had any involvement with thdm bullying
practice. Ten calls today

get phone calls from 10 am till about 6 pm from a woman at churchill finance. ask for them to stop phoning, and then get another phone call from a slightly different number, but from the same company. ignorance seems to have worked, after around a month of calls

These idiots are driving me mad. The next time I'm threatening legal action!

Called me today told them where to go and slammed phone down, called back demanding to speak to a manager got one who came over all condescending and lecturing saying how i entered my details onto several websites, no i entered my info onto moneysupermarket who recommended churchwood finance, they said i didnt meet their criteria so far as im concerned this money group and any subsuquent business with me ended there and then when they told me i didnt meet their criteria but they continue to call and harrass me.

Be warned id avoid moneysupermarket as soon as you enter your details in you get a call like within 5 mins.

A *barsteward* called me from this number and started by callimg me by my first name.(the ignorant sod) he then went into a rant about how i could make a lot of money. When told i was not interested he got quite irate, I hung up. within a minute the phone rang again, the same [***] on the other end, I hung up again. Lo and behold phone rings again {third time in 5 mins}...... I said "look i`ve people in so  stop ringing", his reply to me "tell them your on a business call and  they should go away"....
Needless to say I told him to go away.
Next day I get an unsolicitated e-mail from same company.
Where did they get my details from??
I have never given the e-mail address they contacted me with to anyone out side of those in an office that I have contact with so that in it self says to me that they are a "crowd of cheating ,scamming **BARSTEWARDS**"

this is a loan/debt management company............smart money group/churchwood finance....when they ring asking for someone just say one minute please and then leave the line open and turn up the tv.....they will soon get bored and take u off their lists....

It's one of the many numbers for the money group.
They are debt chasers (and persistent ones at that), you'll likely find that if you've ever been in debt, enquired into a load or other form of credit or sought out professional advice about money then they'll get your details.
I took out a Payday loan once and now they call me around 5-15 times a day from this number and other (usually with the area code 0161). they tend to call between 09:00 and 18:00 but on some occasions I have received calls more around 21:00!
I've done some digging and found the option to remove yourself from their mailing list;

Scamming [***] i lost 255 and now i have debt collectors at my door

Keep getting calls most hang up before speaking but this pm received call from smart money, debt management.

I took them to Court for ringing me and won a case against them in Northern Ireland, tell them if they want another Court Case ring you again that should work, they have after being instructed by an individual 30 days to have your number supressed and if they fail to adhere to your request then raise a small court claim under section 13 of the data protection act 1998 and use section 10 and 11 as the notice of having your number supressed.

These guys are clowns and think they above the law but you need to take action and they will soon learn that they are not above the law.

It will cost you £30.00 to take them to Court but at least you get the satisfaction as did I knowing that they were nearer side of a £1000.00 after my case. :)

answerphone message..loans..dont answer the phone anymore as these are the only people who call since applying for a loan online 6 months ago! have asked to be removed from call list but lowlifes still ringing twice a day!

sick of this company 14 calls 8 voice mails  a day for two weeks told a least not to call how do we stop this arresment.

These guys are still at it. Been receiving calls for over a month asking for a William Swallow (there's never been a William Swallow at my number). When I asked the to stop calling my number and to delete it from there records (politely at first, but not so politely today), I've been told, by several of their operators, that it is the fist time they have called... a blatant lie!

This umber keeps calling me, over debt.....!
Whom earth is it, and who gave them my number???

This number calls me about 10 times a day at least - When I have answered it they ask if i hve applied for a loan , which i haven't .I have asked them to take me off their list but they still keep calling !!!!

I've just had a call from a obnoxious man from Smart money group, I told him I wasn't interested and asked him politely to remove my number from their records. He just wouldn't listen to me and kept going on and on and on. In the end I swore at him and hung up. I've just reported him to their customer services dept. If this is their level of service I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!
