These scumbags have also called me from 0161 209 1949. It matters little, they're the same turd merchants.

To be precise, they're Churchwood Finance (http://www.churchwoodfinance.co.uk). Their website only allows you to request a phonecall back and doesn't give any contact email or submission facility. So I thought, given i've been receiving more and more calls to the point of harassment from this 5hit house company, i'd make the most of what was available to me.

So, to make sure these dickwads didn't find out my personal details, i filled out erroneous email, postcode and name (and, if i'm honest, used some less than pleasant terms as a reflection of my frustration), but used my actual phone number so that they could make the connection. Under 'surname', I wrote the following:

"Ifyoudon'tstopcallingmyhometothepointofharassmenti'llbecomplainingtotheUKinfocommissionersoyouhopefullkygetanicebigfatjuicyfinesoplease****off".

I then received two calls in quick succession (having given the right number) and managed to speak to a real person on the second of those. The lady began her shpiel, mentioning that someone had visited their website but as she began asking for "Is Mr .... there" she realised there was a problem. She'd obviously not read the submission before the call had been made. After I got her to confirm where she was calling from, she then read the rest of it and said, stumbling, "oh, someone has written something unpleasant...". I confirmed that would have been me and asked that the company never contact me again. She confirmed they would not.

I receive three or four calls a day from this number asking for Karen.  I've told them numerous times that there is no Karen at this number.  How can I stop them calling??

this company keeps ringing our house asking for my grandson - I want it stopped forthwith - they say no problem when I say he is out or in bed and they keep phoning - now it is answering machine messages.  I WANT THEM STOPPED

Please be aware about this number. Some people calling from the number constantly.... Please report it to the police.when they call you 5-6 times a day.

....and there was me thinking they'd given up - but after a break of 3 weeks they are back - and just as unwelcome!!

Send you complaints to the [***] there. Send a section 10 request under the data protection act and in the subject title of the email put "Formal Legal Notice Under Section 10 Data Protection Act"

If they continue to call you after that then report them to the OFT (it will put their credit license at risk, if enough of us complain) and to the financial ombudsman and information commissioner (its costs them money each time the FO and/or the ICO investigates them) and trading standards.

They have been calling me on my land line and directly after on my mobile, 10 times each in the last 2 days. Boy.... have they picked on the wrong person to [***].

If I get my hands on them, I'll rip oot their tongues!  I know they have a job to do but this is overkill to say the least. Blacklisting it on my mobile and barring it thru my service provider.  The minute you ask for a quote online for anything your details no matter how relevant seem to viral.  In my case it was car insurance.  What some of these companies have to do with Car Insurance is non existant.  They range from Loans to PPI.  The Internet is a wonderfule thing but it also has a very dark side that people very often forget until the likes of this happens.

Are they that stupid, answer is YES! If they treated people like human beings and listened to them, then more people would seek them out when they did need genuine help, all they are doing is scaring buiness away....DoooooooooH! Thick as mince comes to mind!

They are now calling themselves Phoenix and they ring about 15 times a day and leave a message every time!!!! Getting very annoying

Been getting about 10 calls a day from o1612091988 saying you have been called from Phoenix please call 08002800401. Real pain so decided to answer and told them to stop calling me!

This damn number calls me up to 10 times a day. If I don't answer I get a message you have been called by Phoenix then to call a 0800 number. I have asked them 10 times to remove my number from their records politley. Now I am getting so fed up with the number of calls. As someone mentioned on this forum I am now answering and not speaking so they can't leave a message. The next time they ring I am going to go all guns blazing and ask to speak to a manager. If this doesn't work then I will continue to answer and not speak to them. This type of company is a nuisance.

Totally fed up with this shower of sh*? Ringing my house phone. Do not take no for answer or anything. Gonna try new tactic when they ring and say just hold on a minute and leave them hanging on. They are so ignorant and intrusive. I am fuming with them.

Thanks for email address. Just signed them up using that email to Tara medium readings see how they like being bombarded. This company needs shutting down.
