These companies are all financial institutes that have got your numbers from either loan sites, or dodgy insurance/mobile phone or dating sites that have sold your number illegally. They cannot be traced, they cannot be caught out, all they can do is keep annoyying you. This is such a BIG problem now, even the phone companies cannot keep track of them or action them on your behalf. I have found the best action to take is to answer the phone, but not talk, it may take a few days, but this has certainly worked in my case.
All the phone providers, and mobile providers are aware of thee numbers, but unable to do anything about them. The only action to take is the above. It will annoy the companies and they should stop hassling you..

They have been calling me but i havn't been picking up. Just told them i dont need a loan and they are "taking my details off the system"

i get on average 10-15 calls a day from morning noon and night. i answer get no reply and they hang up. i even say i've reported u for malicious calling but they persist to call my mobile. how they got my number, i don't know

They've been calling me but when I answer there's nothing. Looks like they're annoying lots of people. All I know is it's a manchester number. I'm also getting alot of calls to my landline about debt help. When I say I've sorted it and don't need help they just carry on talking. I don't like to be rude but they give me no choice but to hang up on them.
 My advice is to use these a***holes to let off steam at after a stressful day. They're basically offering themselves up as someone to shout at. I know they're only doing their jobs, but they chose that job.
 These companies always ring when we're putting our toddler to bed EVERY night. I'm pretty sure Virgin must have sold our phone number as it started happening as soon as we were connected.

Yeah - they're called Horizon Finance. You can go to www.horizonfinance.co.uk and email a complaint from there, demanding to be taken off their database. Also ring Jo the manager on 01612460201 just to annoy them back. Do it repeatedly (using 141 first).

I've had 5 calls that Iknow of from this company since making a loan ENQUIRY on the Autotrader website.

same here apparently i have applied for a 5k loan and can they help. Its pending with natwest and noone else and they assured me they havent passed my details on???

Its a scam call....

They brought a redirect number with a manc code (costs £49 per month), it redirects to their various scammers who give diff loan/bank/finance house names everytime in hope you are associated with them. It has nothing to do with horizon finance or any other bank/whatever name they have given.

They also call you to say that you have won free healthcare for a year and all you have to do is pay the VAT etc etc...

I mean c'mon people, so many of you say you googled the number and ended here, didnt you check all the scam sites to see what it is..


And if you dont want scammers calling you, dont put ya real number online, and NEVER buy a ringtone/pic/wallpaper!! Jamster and few others are renouned for selling contact details.....

I have recieved many many calls from this number, how can I report this? As I need to use my mobile phone frequently for work. This is very annoying as I need to keep rejecting the call and listening to the answer machine, with no message as it maybe someone regarding me work. I've spoke to them two or three times and replied said I'm not pursuing a loan anymore and they still call. What morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had a call off this number a moment ago. I went on a site a few months ago to look for loan interest rates.. why did i leave my details!?!? Argh!!

i keep telling them you have the wrong number but they keep ringing.

i have a brand new n95 so it couldnt be the old owners i dnt know where they got kevin from

This guy was really rude. Asking for my husband and saying he called from CS Direct and it was a personal matter. I asked who CS Direct was, and he wouldn't tell me. I said, can;t you even tell me what CS stands for? He answered:I can't tell you that, as that would give away the personal business that I want to talk to him about.
So I said: Well I know for a fact he would never speak to anyone who wont tell who they are, so BYE.
I found it VERY rude!!
