The reason a lot of these calls go dead when you pick up is that the company is using an auto dialer systems. Typically these systems call a bunch of numbers at once, then when someone answers they patch them through to the call centre and drop the remaining numbers dialed. Very annoying, I used to work in a call centre that used a similar system, only way to stop it is to get your number removed from their records.

It IS a loan company and they get your info from various other information-sharing people you may have contacted in the past although these comnpanies are renowned for obtaning your info with the flimsiest of excuses.  
If you want rid of them go to the address below and register your number with the Telephone Preference Service, this will then make it illegal for these companies to contact you without your direct consent.

they phoned me 40 times this week offering me a loan, they kept asking for my bank account details BEWARE ITS A SCAM south yorkshire police are aware of this they told me to block the number and stop it calling me, they get ur detals and set up direct debits or anything to get money from you.

I have had 17 calls from this number so far today and it is only 1528!!!!!!!  i have already told them on 3 occasions to remove my details from their systems but they do not seem to understand what I am saying.. Perhaps I am a modern medical miracle and am speaking an alien language without even knowing it....

These are deffo offering loans, their doing my head right in now!! Obvious if i wanted the loan i would answer the phone and confirm the stupid thing, if i dont answer that means im not interested...GET THE HINT JOG ON!!!

I have had a number of calls from this number on a daily basis, it has been going on now for a few months and I am sick of it!

this num keeps ringing me driving me mad!!!!! everytime you try to ring it bk theres no one to speak to!!!

I did apply for a loan on the internet and these called me to say my loan was approved. I was out and about so I could not give them any details. Is it a scam or if I give them details will they transfer money into my account. I haven't got an account at the moment anyway so will they put it in my fathers account instead? I do need the loan so if it is a genuine loans company I will go for it. They didn't ask for £50.00 up front for admin costs like most brokers do so are theses in fact the loans company? I am wondering if it is genuine?

Keep getting called too, arrgggghhhh!!! You apply for one loan and your details get passed on and on and on.

They have only called me once so far - but like everyone else has said when i call back i just get an american recorded voice saying it is not possible to connect and hangs up.
Any clues to who they are and how they got our number?

They rang me twice this morning, answered first time, but no one was there, answerred the second time, they called C F Direct. They said i applied for a Credit Card - no i didnt.

I managed to get through to this crowd on 01612460201 to a woman called "joe".

I explained that they MUST remove my details from their system, and that I would be taking it further if they didn't...

i have been getting calls from this number all week, and i typed in the number onto google and this came up!

i have never applied for a loan or given my deatils to anyone!
they have even called me on my work number!

I had a missed call this afternoon and they keep callng!  I also receive lots of text from loan companies, I had 7 from the same company yesterday.  How do they get hold of our nummbers?

They keep calling me, i wish they would stop.

just had that number ring me i answered it then it hung up...!!!!!
