Had 4 calls so far today. Each time I answer the phone goes dead. Tried ringing back but the message say's "person on ext 200 is on the phone or not available.  No idea who they are but 0161 is a Manchester number.

I've had 5 missed calls today.

I found the above which lets you find a particular place by phone number. I live in Northern Ireland, Anyone living in Manchester? Have a look at the map and see if you know what building is their? Then maybe we can find out the name of the company and put a complaint in, maybe bbc watchdog

Just called 0161 246 0201. That is the INCOMING number for this firm. They appear to be called Cash Finance Direct. When you finaly talk to someone you will be given a number to call with a ref number thatthey give you. The number is 0905 675 3142. This costs £1.50 p/min. They say that it's refundable but your guess is as good as mine as to the truth of this statement. The choice to call this number is yours. I wont.

had 2 calls today from that number toady!! again no messages, funny that!! I just happened to google the number and came across this site!! How fabulous...now i have an idea who they are!! Woe betide the poor [***] who tries to ring again from that number!! By the time i let rip on the phone i don't think they be calling me again...in fact i think they'll be doing the hanging up!!!

Had them ring 4 times this morning. Think they are defo a loan company.

Had 2 calls 2day. Guy on phone sad to me than i need to call 0206 400 1876 to finish my finance application and will pay £1.50/min and that is refundable... I sad to him that after first call i check this number on internet and that they have done a lot of f******* sh** to another people so i recommended him to change the job because i will [***] his ass. Also he told me that they comp name is Cash Finance and it is a part of Horizont Finance. Advise all of you dont use moneysupermarket and etc. If you want loan go for your bank, or lender not for brokers.

who is this- i never giv out my number to anyone so how the hell have these people got my number.....i dont even knoe my number to gi out.

thiese people keep calling every other day every hour wen i answer they either hang ask to speak to me then hang up - whats it's all about??? - any one any ideas???

They keep calling me too about 5 times today, it rings twice then hangs up, when i ring it back an american recorded message comes on asking me to leave a message, is there a way i can ban these people from calling me

me too i got a call today and i have tried ring it up and it either rings and say this person is unavailble or this person is on the fone

They have called me three times today.  They are a loan company offering VERY high rate loans.  Most likely they have obtained your numbers via an internet search - if you have applied or searched for loans with a number of brokers, your number gets passed to various loan companies.  Who then call you back.  Even after being told no, they will occasionally call back numerous times.  Ignore.

This number keeps calling, then hangs up when the 'phone is answered.Called 3 times in 1 day. I am going to look at the human rights act, article 12, on privacy.

Simply answer and tell them you've sorted your situation already. I've been riddled with them after simply enquiring online to one particular company and i did tick that prestigious little box that eliminates your number from being man handled along the business lines. And thankfully i've had no further calls. I do believe that if you state you've already handled your problem... They leave you alone as they cannot get any further business out of you. But as a someone stated previously, they are automated computers that dial your number automatically, (then you get put through to a call centre worker) therefore it doesnt matter whether or not you dont answer, they wont get the 'hint' until you tell them.

i have had this number calling me everyday for the last week all i did was enquire about a loan on the net and now they call me every day.i have asked them to stop but they wont :O( ahhhhhh.
