Ring and hang up, what's it all about. I get calls on my mobile and house number. Other times they ask about consolidate when I say no they say nothing else and just hang up you.

This Number keeps on calling me but when I answer there is no-one there it's getting on my nerves now.

i have received calls from this number - usually cold calls.  i usually answer them and leave them running so i am giving the company the cold shoulder too.  they are from a company called churchwood finance.
I really dont know how they got my mobile number, as i'm always careful with giving out numbers/email addresses.  
i have looked at how i can complain on ofcom, and they send you to information commissioner and you also get told to register with TPS (Telephone preference service) although they supposedly take a month to get your number taken off of lists.

Anybody got any tips on how to get rid of them ?

Just had a missed call from them, I rang them back and they wanted my husband, so I asked what they did there?, and the guy said 'financial solutions, its one of teir sister companies trying to call', I told him we dont need all that, he has removed our number. Simples!!!

i have numerous calls from this phne number today and am considering reporting them to the police for harassment

This is the eleventh time this number has rung me today. Who is it?

I GET THE SAME AS OTHER PEOPLE, CALL COMES IN YOU ANSWER IT AND NO ONE ON THE OTHER END.TWICE SO FAR TODAY AND I DONT THINK IT WILL BE THE LAST

122 calls in 10 days and they still wont stop whatever i tell them. I'm gonna change my number.

im exactly the same, ive had approx 50 - 60 calls from these numbers since friday. its ridiculous!

had a few calls , ignored them, then blocked their number

I have blocked their number as in one day I had 21 missed calls from them. I still get reports of how many times they have called and in one week I have literally had about 70 calls.
Any ideas on how to report this number for harrasment!!!

these numbers (01614767250 & 01614764696) constantly phoning  my mobile. luckiliy i have reject call facility on my mobile, but still a bl***y pain!!!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....................you must block them !!! i usually get around 20 phone calls a day -silent calls ofcourse, when i redail the person answering claims they do not caLL ME AT ALL  and they have received my application i did not made, i moved out end of march and they claim my application under my old address went on 7th of may, like i would apply in may for a loan under my old address, they must be blocked...
i also asked for copy of my application form they said they cannot do it and they will check how much is going to cost me to get it ha ah , a joke !!

I have been receiving over 20 calls a day for the last 5 weeks, the only day they havent called me is on a sunday, i have caller display on my phone and only answer calls when i know the people who are calling as i have had trouble with prank calls for a while. Anyway i finally gave in and answered the other day only to be asked if "Mr Wilson" was there, my surname is Jones and I live by myself, I explained this on the phone to them only for them to ask me if I knew where Mr Wilson lived!!!! bloody cheek!!! Havent had any phone calls off of them after I "politely" asked them to stop calling lol :)

this number keeps calling me constantly - already today i have had 9 missedcalls off them!!! its getting annoying now!!!!

Just had my first call from this number and same response...background noise then being hung up on after about 2 seconds.  Hope this doesn't last as long as you others that have experienced this problem.

Keep getting calls off this number and its really ******** me off now. I have told them when i answered not to contact me again. Are they idiots? I answered the phone once and no one answered me so I just left the phone on and farted over it...the woman soon hang up. If they call again then i'll be putting in a bar to tps.

i have had this number calling me up to 6 or 7 times a day and its really annoying i have no idea what they are or what they want and when i do answer there is no one there!

i have calls at 7am! what kind of company calls at this time.

does any one know how i can make this stop?

Number belongs to Chruchwood Finance, a loan brokerage company, cant comment if they are any good at the job, but they are pretty crappy as far as call centre management goes, Have spoken and e-mailed various times asking to be removed from dial lists, but on average still getting around 10 calls a day.

You’d have to be pretty desperate to deal with a company like this in my opinion!!
