Who is this

Got a call from 01614953870 at 12:44 on 20th October, answered but no reply, I guessed it was some scam to get me to call back, so I headed straight to the net :)
No idea who this is, but it's probably a load of scammers or sales people at best.

Company called Chameleon Telesales

They called today to my mobile claiming to be a company called "Moorlife / E-Life."
Caller launched straight into sales speech, didn't even ask if it was OK to talk. Claimed they could save me money on life insurance and demanded to know how much I was paying. Caller gave name as "Lisa" but refused to give a surname.

Scammers trying to get you to call back for life insurance - AVOID

Scammers and low life time wasters... try to sell you some nonsense.... they ring then hang up if you answer in the hope you will call back.  Don't they are time wasters.  AVOID 100%

Hi keep getting calls from this number - they never leave a message

tHEY ARE ATILL ABOUT THIS IS MY 5TH CALL IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS - DONT THEY GIVE UP HAVE NEVER REPLIED

just answer and dont talk, leave your phone by your side - they always hang up after 30 seconds. I see it as a bonus - ive wasted 30 seconds of their time, ive stopped someone else getting the call and theyve had to pay for a call

Just got phoned by this number now.  Luckily I am very hard of hearing and just said I haven't a clue what they are saying and put the phone down.
1471 is a god :)

If they ring again, I'll use my various skills to hunt them down and stop them before their brain engages next time.

Have received several calls on my mobile from this number, they hang up when I answer. Presumably dodgy folk.

They rang 3 times and then i checked by ringing back with 141 in front of my number chameleon marketing, Time wasters selling life insurance. My mobile has a setting to divert these calls staright to voicemail......Handy

Had lots of missed calls from this number - usually called when at work.  Answered call today - said it wasn't a sales call but was selling insurance

This number has called me several times. Time this & others like it have been reigned in & fined heavily.

Keep getting calls from this number - do they never give up. Thought they would get the message when I never answer the phone. All this started after getting quotes for insurance on the Compare sites - so be aware

number calls selling life insurance

had one today (to a TPS registered number) which played me a recorded message saying "you were called today by Action Claims. We are sorry, we were unable to take your call but be assured that we will try again in the next few days"

In other words, not only do we want to annoy you with cold calls but we cannot be bothered to even have enough call handlers in our system, never mind we'll try hassling you later.

They have now received an email (enquiry@actionclaims.co.uk) advising them in no uncertain terms of my opinion of them and their tactics.

I have had numerous missed calls from this number which I beleive is a company trying to sell insurance.  I have never answered their calls as I didn't recognise the number and hav enow set my mobile to reject all calls from this number.

Called me many times, eventually I called the number, looked the company name up on the internet. It is a telemarketing company based in Cheadle, Stockport called Chameleon telesales. I think they got my number after I did an internet comparison search. Sneaky. I now answer the phone and put it down somewhere until they get bored and ring off. They still ring even though I am registered with mobile TPS
