They called me, and I immediately heard a recorded message "You were called today by Chameleon telesales (about something) but we couldn't get through.  We'll try again but if you want to call us, ring 0845 notafreecall".  Clearly, I got the message one is supposed to receive when they ring BACK on their geographic number - no idea why I heard it from an outbound call!

I too have had calls from this number and Googled it to find the company and emailed through their 'contact us'  to ask for my number to be removed from their lists.  I had a prompt response and an apology for any inconvenience and have not received any further calls

They have re-invented themselves, now a claims management company.

I got this response after complaining, here is the response and the individuals name. Seems like their predictive dialer has been out of action for quite a while!

these people never, never, never, give up, ive had 30 plus calls from these idiots....ive told them im happy with my life insurance, but they wont go away....GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a calll from this company today and they asked for my partner, when i told them he wasnt here they said o i will update the records!!

they were claiming to be E-life insurance

I received a call from this mumber today and as most people have already stated, it's insurance sellers.  No idea why they are calling me now as I have not used a comparison site in months and months!  Added the number to my blocked list so no longer should be getting a problem with them.

get at least 5 calls a week from them...avoid at all costs, answered once, some dodgy scam to sell you life insurance....they dont take no for an answer, i asked them politely to take me off their list, which they said they would...have they....nope still ring everyday....just dont answer anymore!!!!

Got a call from this number 18.02 hours 5.12.2011 did not answer as I was certain it was time wasters

This company rang me, as I did not answer they left no message. Complete idiots

They keep calling most days. Pick the phone up it goes dead. Must be scammers wanting you to call back ?????????.

Just had a phone call of them I did not speak to them as they hung up

This phone number has been phoning me for years now...when i answer, some MORON just says "hello" "hello" and nothing else.
We should all get down there and pay the guy a special visit...!!

I do this all the time, or say sorry there's the doorbell, or sorry can't hear you bad line, sometimes I just say nope that's not me

Since getting a phone with caller display I simply google any number I don't recognise, when I find out who they are I then store it in phone and future calls are then ignored, if private caller comes up I simply don't answer, this has made life much easier

Even though I'm registered with TPS, they are still ringing then when you answer they ring off. Emailed them to say if they don't stop I'll report them to OFCOM. Perhaps we should all do it.
