    Have been getting couple of calls every day for several weeks on & off - get them for days on end - then don't hear from them for a week or so - then it starts again. Have them saved in my phone as 'Spam' so never answer!

    They call day and night, they say they are Chameleon Insurance, they want to speak to my grandaughter, she has insurance but they wont take NO for an answer. They are calling several times a day, how the heck can I stop them, I am with TPS, this is harrassment surely.

    Telesales again!, Or is it scammers?, What a lousy way for these people to try and make a living, don't blame them it is the system allowing this to happen. As un-employment within Government run department declines more and more of these excuse for jobs will be created to try and keep the workforce in employment!

    My Husband has had 11 calls in total from this number over the last 2-3 months.  They ring off before he answers.  If he does they`ll regret they ever bothered to ring him.  He works nights and they call him at all time.

    I have been reading through the comments posted on this site in relation to the calls made from our Teams.

    I know writing this will probably make me very unpopular but hopefully will shed some light for you all.

    I work for Chameleon Insurance Services Ltd. on the Teams that work this data. At the company, we operate on an automatic dialler that means we can not hear the first 30 seconds of a call whilst it dials so for that I apologise.

    For all of you registered TPS or ex-directory; as we are not making sales calls in relation to Life Insurance, we are allowed to dial you on the numbers provided. Our calls are classed as Marketing calls only as we work on behalf of specialist Life Insurance brokers.

    In response to the people complaining about where we get our data from; I can fully appreciate that this is the issue that you all ignore. I'm not trying to be rude, but we don't purchase data from providers, they give it to us to dial as it makes them money as well.

    What I'm trying to say is if you want to kick off with somebody, ask the agent who provided your file and get in contact with them.

    At the end of the day the Agents are doing the job they have been hired for and I personally would much rather be doing something else, but it pays my bills and keeps food in my Daughter's stomach so I keep at it.

    Hopefully I have shed some light for you.

    Now you're asking the difficult questions Bob.

    Unfortunately, I'm just the annoying guy at the other end of the phone and therefore don't know those kind of details off by heart.

    Calls from 01614953870 have data sourced from the Brightside Group (Trade name eLife), Leadx (and it's variants), Q4insure and data passed through from our lovable rivals, the PI accepts team.

    The most I know is that our Data Controller is called Simon Ashworth. In terms of who accepts data pots from the companies, I couldn't help you sorry.

    Fingers crossed that helps despite my lack of knowledge sorry.

    if you ring this number back you are going to be charged
    you.ve been told
    this is not the only one number there are many others
    lol if only i knew who it was i will be out side the house all night with a boom box

    However much you would just love to do this to them -You can't!

    Why, because that would make you as bad as them, you would be sinking to their level.

    Oh and another reason would be, that if you do email them they then have your email address.

    No I just tell them they have rang me on my fax number an d in future could they use this one ......  The number of your local police - great way to gather evedence against these people.
