they just rang me and they knew my name and everything... from reading this its a bloody good thing my phone cut out LOL!...

My wife has been getting these calls for weeks now.  They are trying to offer some refund but are unspecific.  Next time we will try and sell them our old washing machine - we only want £20 for it.  Maybe this will interest them.

Away in Spain and been getting calls from this number non-stop.  Don't normally answer calls abroad unless family but thought something may be wrong and nearly answered this one.  Luckily I found this site first and didn't end up paying for some cold call.   Even if I have had a loan or been mis-sold PPI I'll decide if and who claims for me.  Thanks.

01619390436 has rung 03/04/05/08 of this month so far. i've never answered it and they've never left a message. after googling it, i have no intention of answering it either!  luckily i have a reject list on my mobile, so it has been added to that.

This number has called every few days the past few weeks - I never answer it.  I will only answer calls on my mobile from numbers my phone recognises. Hope they stop ringing.

ring me every lunchtime always ask what company they're from and how they obtained my info but the avoid the questions

they ring me once every lunchtime only recently have I had calls from them I also ask what company they are calling on behalf and how they obtained my number and name but they avoid the question. so now when they ring I mimic whatever they say they get extremely annoyed and eventually put the phone down. and it is very funny but they still persist and ring me every day!!!

I am away in the states and keep getting missed calls from this number..... glad i googed before answering or calling back!!

I keep getting calls from this number about PPI repayment even though I've told them I have no need for a claim.

I have the same problem, This number called me twice and i missed the call . I then called back to speak to an idiot just speak as robot no listen , i couldn't understand clear how he haver my number.

Got a few calls from them now on my mobile.  When I answer, you can hear someone at the other end but they don't say anything, wait a few seconds then hang up.  Presumably use some sort of automated dialer.  I rang them back and was told they are "The Claims Advisory Group" - came on here and found they are plaguing hundreds of people with their unwanted calls.

Fortunately, I have an Android phone so it's a simple matter to add them to my blacklist... they won't be bothering me again!

When I opened my mobile this a.m. I got a missed call message from this lot. Its not the first time, & I never have anything to do with any of the people who try this method of getting business.

I received a call on my mobile from a very rude lady who would not take no for an answer when \i told her I didnt have a loan so I couldnt get a refund.  She was insistent that I did have a loan and could claim for a refund.  I put the phone down on her and straight away my landline rang and the display showed "international - out of area" and this time it was a gentleman from the same company who said I was due a refund on a loan.  I just put the phoen down on him.  Please stop these calls

this number rings my mobile at least 2-3 times a day so sick of it now,i answered the 1st time and i told them that i have never had any loans or anything like that and they just keep ringing..dont bother answering my mobile when this number comes up now.

just had a call from them on my mobile, was an answering machiene message saying "sorry we've missed you this is ADF, please call us back" of course never called them back, glad i checked it out on here too.

I get repeated calls from this number asking for me personally. They try to tell me I have a compensation claim of £1600. I usually just hang up, but I have now had endless calls from them.
This evening they called me on my home number and then my mobile. I  told them I had no claim whatsoever and that I would call the police and trading standards because I am being constantly harassed. I thought Jack Straw was dealing with these scamsters.

I have had 20 missed calls from these people, so I phoned back and they put me on hold. Luckily I read this first and hung up instantly.

The Claims Advisory group have started to bombard me also on both my  landline and mobile number.

I am in the process of sending them a letter stating that these call are unlawful and may be in be a breach of s.22 of The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations (SI2426/2003)  I am requesting that they remove all my details from their database.   I will also state that I may seek compensation for the unlawful collection and processing of my data under the Data Protection Act 1998 and for breach of The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations (SI2426/2003). I may also file a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.
