I received a call yesterday from the alleged Kim Beg. I have moved to an address that I do not want to gbe contacted by bankers, solicitors and other demons of the system. The post man has been kindly returning all mail to sender....great service -saves me the time.
I usually do not contract by even acknowledging them. I do NOT confirm my 'name and address!, but she tricked me as she said She had a delivery for me. I run a business from this number and get deliveries all the time. I asked who was the delivery from....Aston Solicitors. Then i realised that this was trickery. I told her I do not have a contract with Aston and to return the delivery. She threatened me by saying that there would be a tracing company sent to find me and that I would have to pay for the service. Ha!  I was caught of guard.
I asked her questions...name company Meridian services....I Made The Mistake of talking to her. I should have told her she had the wrong person and hung up. We should not be having ANY conversation with these people.
In the end she gave me the name and number of Aston sol to ring them and give then my address and she said she would call back. She said if I did not do this they would commence tracing....I needed time to recover and get my strategy right. I googled and am shocked they can use these unlawful tactics...they are in breecg of The Non Fatal offences against the persons act....paramont to harassment. I LEARNT a BIG LESSON. I will call the Garda and record the conversation to report them this threatening phone call and tell them I am frightened and harrassed. See what they say....and ask them some questions re braking the LAW. I will post here.When Kim Beg rings back, I will not 'contract' by letting them know my name. I will tell them that I reported them to the Garda and if they ever contact me again I will be filing a report and filing charges.
By the way under data protection act they cannot give any information until you confirm your name and address..... When they ask to speak to Mrs xxxxx then reply WHO is this. Never admit to your name before you know who is calling and why!
I Have stopped receiving calls from debt collectors, banks, credit card companies, solicitors. They all stop. They are breaking the law. Don't be afraid of them. We consent to their unlawful and destructive behaviour by consenting our names and accepting to have a conversation. Ask them to 'answer a few security questions before you process the call....name address, type of car you drive, age, nationality, social security number.'....If they refuse tell them you cannot allow call through until they go through security check. They will hang up. seriously, we forget who We are.... The banks have lied, cheated, sold our signatures for vast profit and enslave us to give them our hard earned energy. solicitors  and debt collectors are already breaking the law. Never engage in their games. If you get a solicitor to defend you, you have already lost. They have their own rules. We do not have to play their games. We are free. 'No contract, return to sender. I do not recognise you.

I got a call from Martin MacKenzie today.  I lost count of the number of times he said "basically" in the conversation.  Basically, I became bored so I ended the call.

Another asking to call Erin Dyer. Should state this was a letter - not a call - but worth adding anyway.

We're in a rental and have been here nearly 18 months, the tenants before were here for 6. Got a letter addressed to neither us nor the previous tenants - the name was someone I've never heard of.

Have to say after all these comments I'm kind of tempted to call and experience the psychosis  for myself...!

What worries me is, if we don't call them and tell them we've no idea who this is - nip it in the bud asap - are they likely to take further measures? My brother and his fiancee ended up with a debt collector turning up on their doorstep looking for previous residents; I think I'd end up quivering in tears in the corner if that happened!

Anyone have any comments / stories about further action either from or towards this company?

Hi I also got a letter from m.c.s looking for me to contact Kim Begg on 01 8787888, and thanks to all of ye for putting up messages about these scam artists, I will definately NOT be contacting them.

got a letter from mcs asking them to contact them, but the dim wits never wrote down who or a number on the page, read all these messages now so well clued in as to who they are and what they friggin want..

Erin Dyer, Asked me to pass a message to one of my employees, looked up this number as i found it odd that she would have the company number for a delivery to my employees address. called her back myself and told her i would not be passing her message or excepting calls from her again and she got very very gritty with me and asked do i believe everything i read on the net to which i replied yes it said you would be abusive and so far its proving true. i can only think this is some form of debt collection or scam not worth wasting your time with.

This company called a neighbour to try to find out who lived next door, the neighbour is 85 and disabled, they conned him into thinking they had a delivery. He was most concerned and felt very vunerable, surly this kind of practice should be classed as illigal, hounding people through neighbours, plus they had the wrong person, can they be report to the OFT?

Got a postagram for this number I'm my old address I called them they said they had a letter for me I called them refused to give them any details as I moved and he started getting very aggressive and angry then asked if my dob was the 31st of march I said no and he said wrong person and cut the phone call then sent another postagram out so the girl who lives there now was like she don't live hear anymore they where trying to fish for information off her but she didn't give any out but they said they will track me down scares me as I'm in no debt what should I do?

Maybe they should get some mail in the post as well. Directors names and previous directors. As if people dont have enough problems without the ESB contracting these English scum to harrass elderly people and hunt them down for a few messily quid.
