Hi.  This is for B-Edwards.  I realise all these comments are becoming disconcerting.  I consider though that the information concerning the current location (Hamilton, Scotland) of a certain person who caused so much anxiety is helpful.  Things might now calm down.

Yes, I realise Meridian ceased trading in 2014.  My mum received a call from the Company.  She worried incessantly about what you-know-who threatened to do.  Yeah, there might be very little she can do now - the said person is working for a new employer.  Thanks though to the people who traced him after 6 long years.

This thread was busy from 2009 to 2013. Then it goes dark for 7 years. In Jan/Feb of 2020, the thread explodes - with way too many vendetta posts. That is an odd pattern. In my experience, that is often a sign most of the vendetta posts are coming from one person who is seriously p'ed off and on a mission.

Here are the key questions/Issues:

- Is the phone number for this thread still being used by the same or renamed debt collection outfit?  If not, this thread should be closed and I would recommend that to admin.
- If the phone number is still being used by new company name, are the practices still illegal, harassing or misleading?  If so, posts should somehow reflect/inform up-to-date info for current and future readers/posters. I am sure we all agree that up-to-date info is vital.

- The LARGE numbers of doxing and vendetta posts were vowing personal revenge are still being made naming a Robert Stark. If this is a real person and they have left the company or the company has changed hands, the doxing and vendetta post are useless and misleading. Posts I believe legit point to this person being gone. However...

Phony Debt Collectors in the US and Canada routinely adopt (and re-use) phony names used by any scammer in on the game. If "Robert Stark", "Linda Campbell" and "Tina Black." are fake and interchangeable names, somehow that has to be clear so that readers do not start looking for, plotting or taking revenge against some innocent person who just happens to be stuck with any of those names.

So there is no doubt, both doxing and vendetta posts are against site ToS and those posts get reported and usually removed.  If Robert Stark has moved on, there are better ways and sites to keep on their tail if people believe a legal remedy is possible. This site is not really the place to organize that sort of thing.

I am on record via my posts in WCM and in 800notes since 2015. Consistently, uniformly, I am pure H**L on phony debt collectors. I also believe the info posted should be accurate. I do not like amateur doxing. Sadly, the internet encourages digging and so much info out on the webs is just plain wrong.

Good intel sometimes can get these places shut down, and if real, "Robert Stark" might find few places to hide. The trick is to get the right person.

Read the most recent message.   Yeah, I agree, there was an "explosion" of activity after a 6-year lull and now the posts are incessant.  From what I know, it is as a result of the said person having been located.  The tone of the blasts suggests a quest/ongoing struggle by certain people to find the elusive Robert Stark - a bit of a fugitive.  This suffused to others which might be the reason for their fury. Some of those involved imply their rage is insuperable.  Closure is not a panacea.
