does any1 know who they are.

this number called to me too. it was about 5 minutes ago. and I can see cause previous post was written about 1 hour ago, before this my message.

Now calling me, who is it?

no idea. i tried answer when they called to me, but when i press green button on my phone call was disconnected.

Got a call from this number this morning. No name, message or anything. I seriously doubt it has much importance. Funny that several other people only reported it today though!

Rang me too. Said he was from the approvals team, though declined to say whose! About a loan I've been turned down for apparently. Told him I didn't know what he was talking about and he hung up.

this number belongs to a debt management company they get your details when you apply for payday loans.

Just called me and didnt say anything for 5 mins then i hung up

They phoned me and I just kept saying "Bonjour" every few seconds down the phone to the man, he soon hung up! :-) He didn't say which company he was from though and the funny thing was, although I obviously couldn't speak English (cough, cough), the man still tried selling me his debt management plan. :-)

Just play games with them down the phone (which is costing them remember), and I'm sure they'll soon get bored.

I'd love to see if they try and call my landline because it's TPS registered! When I called back (witholding my number of course, the phone was answered the man just said "The approvals team").

That's very dodgy if you ask me because you don't know who you're talking to.

About a month ago I looked at applying for small 1 year loans to consolidate a couple of credit cards. I had fully applied for Sainsburys finance but was declined. I also "signed up" to uswitch in order to gain some quotes. Shortly afterwards I chose to sort the debt out myself, stopped looking and forgot about it all.

Since then I have had a number of calls from odd numbers (this one included), maybe once a week. The only one time I have answered one of these numbers someone from a financial organisation were looking to gather information on the amount I wished to loan and the nature in which I may use it.

I declined to offer any information and informed them that I no longer required a loan. She seemed rather put out (tough luck love) and I went on my way.

I might start answering these and trying to get my name off of any calling list, its simply a waste of time on both sides for them to try and gather information from me.

got this today about half 2. i answered it but nothing / no one said anything so put it down

just a few minutes ago had a call fron this number. seems they are loan sharks who trawl through credit applications and home in on likely targets. wouldn't say which company or how they got number. a week or so ago i did make loan enquiry but did not submit application

Just had a call off this number, disconnected when my boyfriend tried to answer, so he called them back. They're called Back On Track finance, based in India but Head Office is in London. Not sure why they're calling me, third time in three days, as I've never applied for any finance other than my student loan five years ago.

Oh, and to add to my previous comment, when my boyfriend asked them to remove my number and told I was with TPS, they told my boyfriend that they needed me to authorise that I didn't want any more calls off them.

they've rang me five times in the past 2 hours!! It's getting very annoying now! When i answer, they never say anything so i put it down... On the last phone call about half an hour ago i answered and told them where to go... Just thought it was someone prank calling me haha! Oh well, hopefully they won't ring again.

ive had 3 calls of this number today and when i answer - noone talks!!!!!!! there taking the mick now - GET A PROPER JOB!!!

Just had a missed call from this number tried to call back but deadline hmmmm.

17 calls in the space of 10mins of me getting in from a long night shift at work, they didnt say who they were or how they got both my landline and mobile numbers, my partner isnt very happy either as the same number calls at night while my 7 month old boy is asleep.
