I rang my mobile company up (orange) and basically asked them to block this number. Unfortunately they cannot block numbers from their end anymore. i was told to go on to google.com and type in tps in the search bar click on the first link that appears www.callpreventionregistry.co.uk register with this company. Ring the number back that has called you, 01788220339 and tell them your mobile number and say to them that you are TPS registered and if they ring you again you will report them to the TPS company (you actually need to report them aswell if they do ring again) You will not have anymore calls from them. What TPS can do is, after you have registered with them, each time the number calls you again, the TPS company will fine them upto £2000 when you report them

Can anyone advise of how i can block this number. It calls me at least three times a day for about three weeks now. They are offering some king of financial help but despite me telling them im not interested, they don't stop calling...

This compamy called me today to say a loan i had aplied for had been declined but i have not applied for any loans. When my wife got home through sheer worry she called the number and was hung up on when she was explained that we have not applied for a loan and she was concerned of Identity theft.

THEY KEEP CALLING ME!!

If they contiune to do so im calling the police, this is just annoying now

They have called me a few times saying they wanted to help me sort out my bad credit (which i dont have) I have asked them where they got my details from and they said they didnt have any?? Just my mobile number and name then! I have asked them to remove my details from their system and not to call again to which the women answered "well why I'm trying to help you whats wrong with us doing that? just answer my questions" She would not take no for a answer at all so I just hung up and said I would report it if they rang again. How can I get these calls stopped when they are just a pain?!

they rang this morning asking to speak to me, i confirmed it was myself, they did not identify themselves, the lady said something to me which i did not understand, i think it was along the lines of good morning, but then she hung up... very  strange

Got this call today at 1330hrs GMT. Didn't answer but tracked down number elsewhere - they're a middle company for several payday loans companies. Won't identify who they work for though, only mention the company they're working on behalf of.

This number keeps hanging up no one answers.

They just called me now - when I asked 'who are you' he just said it was about my loan (not applied for one) When I said take my number off your list he kept saying "am I talking to XX" argued that he must know who he wants to talk to as he dialled, then threatened to report him for harassment as he wouldn't take my name off his list and he hung up on me.

I registered with TPS months ago, so annoyed that I still get these calls.

I save all these numbers in my contacts under "dodgy no 1", etc so I can cut them off straight away

forgot to add, when I said I'm not interested he said "what are you not interested in?"

This number 01788220339 keeps calling me non stop, i phoned and asked them to stop the guy became abusive.

Keep getting calls from this no. don't know why . have added to reject list to stop calls

Me to, knew it was a load of bull as soon as i could hear the shhh (cheap call centre white noise type) in the background - was pretty rude to the guy and basically said look if your guna give me money just put it in my [***] account if your trying to sell something [***] off and take me off the database..

This was after I asked why he had my number and he replied "because it is on the database"

What a bell end shitestain company. He said government scheme at one point as well and i was like err yeah sure.

Be rude, be nasty, put them down, eventually they might get the hint.

how do these people get hold of mobile numbers, they are a pain and should be stopped!!
