For what it's worth, the numbers have been cancelled by the company reselling the phone numbers after I complained to Invomo/GCI.

They kindly replied to say that this has been done, but would not say who the customer/reseller was.

So it's certainly worth informing the company that control the number ranges - even though they should be checking the ranges themselves in these types reporting websites. The Ofcom website will give the telecom company who controls number ranges

and download the relevant spreadsheet. Note that the numbers are without the initial zero.

PPI stuff wished they'd stop calling me

There are generally two companies involved in a scam like this. One with the telecom resources and telesales staff makes the nuisance calls, and then another follows up the leads generated. Mark Fried on 28 May 2013 on page 93 identified the latter company as “PPI Advice Line” of Bradford. Others have suggested Redhawk Legal Ltd in Swansea following up on the leads.

The company actually making the nuisance calls from 01792 211 846 (as well as 845, 847 and others) would appear to be Telemagic Ltd of 15A Cowell Street, Llanelli SA15 1UU. Companies can get blocks of numbers, and Ofcom records show Telemagic Ltd. is allocated the block 01792 211 xxx. Of course CLI can be faked, but other things point to the calls really being from there. Firstly Google street view shows a banner outside Telemagic Ltd’s registered address attempting to recruit “telesales staff” inviting them to call 07727 606257 for an interview. Secondly the director of Telemagic Ltd., Joseph Waite  (born 25/03/1981) is director of “Protect Your World Ltd” which, under its previous name of “Mobiles 4 Less Ltd” became notorious for similar aggressive telemarketing of a dubious insurance product..

However, these nuisance calls may be making money for Joseph Waite, if he is the same Joseph Waite of nearby 16 Glan Yr Afon, Llanelli SA15 3QB who, on 20 March 2013, made a planning application to make a rear extension and attic conversion there.

The company is Redhawk Legal Ltd, 6a Prospect Place , Swansea, SA1 1QP.

I have constant calls from this number since a recent motor accident, as well as from 01792905094. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't DVLA inspired as the government sells our details to private companies. All helps pay for their exhorbitant expenses. I open the call but ignore it until they ring off. Hopefully this costs them money and they get the message or go bust.

Rang this number back and got a recorded message "The number you have dialled is not in service".

Had a message URGENT we have tried to contact you. it is important we speak to you today. No one had tried to contact me. You then get a call from 01422 387713 but they dont ring for long so you call back. From the comments from other people who have called back its a scam to get you to do a loan with them and part of PPI claims but they get 30% of your money. Its all about them getting money from you I'm getting sick of these calls and the mobile companies should be blocking hard sell calls. Dont ring them back

Invest in a callblocker and they will stop.....the peace and quiet that will result will prove to be a joy. Take it as fact from someone who was plagued endlessly as well by these cowboys...but not anymore.

I got a call yesterday and missed it... but today when I answered it there was only 3 beeps... I hope there's not something they can use my number for now that I have answered....  have you had any more...?

Call rings... I answer... they hang up...

Receiving a number of random mobile phone calls that cut off when I answer them. My suspicion is that this might be so I will call back and then find I have called a costly premium number - so clearly I have not called back.

Again a silent caller. Same number called in April 2024. No idea who it is.
