I'm on 02 and just recieved the text like 5 minutes ago. I was too confused about what was going on so i returned the call and as it was ringing i thought "what the heck am i calling them for? It could be a spam" so as some guy picked it up, i hung up straightaway.

They better not txt me again!!!!!!!!

I just had identical text:

"You may now be overdue in reclaiming your bank charges.please call 01792473533 to register your claim.qoute reference SF360" and i'm on O2!!

Same again and on O2. Think I read before on another forum about this company when they texted before. Definite scam. Someone suggested everyone who is contacted got their phone from Carphone Warehouse.. May or may not be true!

This has nothing to do with O2, they are guessing the numbers. I work with O2 and have a business phone with them (yes, it's their phone) and they are spamming me. The ministry of justice wont do anything, its OFCOM you need to speak to.

02 sold my number to advertisers, biggest scam!

i work for o2 and had a number of calls with regards to this problem. they are all scammer and seem to be selecting people from all different networks. avoid calling these numbers as alot of them are charged at international rates and they cant be claimed back from the network they are on as it isnt a network error. unless its a text from someone you know or a text from your provider please refrain from calling the number back

I have received a text from a similar number today asking that I call to reclaim bank charges and quote Ref.SF360. Must admit I was very nearly fooled as I have actually recently written to my bank in an attempt to reclaim bank charges! Very odd. Fortunately I didn't fall for it and looking at the above comments i'm glad I didn't. To the person who is defending o2 above - wake up. If it's not o2 directly then it is most certainly one of their distributor's. I bought my BlackBerry from The Carphone Warehouse, which speaks volumes, and to be honest I have heard a number of nightmare stories regarding dodgy Asian customer adviser's working at various phone stores (not specifically CW). No, i'm not generalising and i'm not racist - those are just the facts. If you get this message report it to your service provider and consider contacting OFCOM. Oh and always be weary of text messages written in CAPITAL LETTERS.

just received a text as above and to call 01792476201 plus 2 landline calls a day asking for my credit card details to so call re emburse me with 400.00 overpaid bank charges. not bad considering i dont pay that much.
