This number calls upto 5 times a day every day we don"t answer and they never leave a message on the answer phone. We are registered with the preference service which I thought stopped these call its very anoying.

Likewise receiving continual calls from them, many of which are silent when answered as assume it's an automated dialling system.  After much research having found out 01922 420057 is a dummy number for Homeserve that you can't call back in to, traced a direct dial number to their company's reception 01922 426262 got put through to the customer service manager, having given them a rocket for their company continually contacting me - 20 times last week!!! - despite never having dealt with the company, not requesting them to call me and being on the TPS the customer service manager agreed to distribute my number to both their internal and out sourced call centres to have me taken off any lists they have.  She reckons it could take 6-8weeks, how come it takes this long when they merely have to delete the record - I have warned her it better not take that long as I will not be happy if I get 20 calls a week from them for the next 8 weeks!!!!

01922420057  has called here a few times, last week I posted back six different forms addressed to me with variable spellings of my name and address, about water board insurance, I explained I am on a private water supply and I am the tennant not the owner, gave the solicitors details etc and said contact them if they wish to talk about insurance for pipes etc, anyway since posting back the forms they are now phoning constantly, Im fed up of it, Ive asked them to remove my number etc but still they phone, I just don't answer now.

These ars*holes are calling me about 4 times a day. I've reported them to TPS.

This number keeps ringing us, and when you pick the  phone up, they ring OFF.

Today we had a constant  stream of silent from this number,they should mbe stopped

five calls today,past being a nuisance; Harassment!.

Numerous calls from this lot over last few days. 1471 does not put you back through to them so phoned Homeserve main switchboard number given above (01922 426262) and got put through to person who said, with an apology, that she would ensure we were "taken off their dialler". Hope it works!

They keep ringing me asking for someone who doesn't live here! I only just got my phone number from sky and I'm ex directory so goodness knows how they got my number! So annoying! Read the comments above- like the person with the phone which show the number before you answer or the one you can block calls on! Might have to invest in a phone like that!

12 calls this week! every time I pick up they put the phone down; what the hell is the point in calling 12 times a week if you dont speak!

I have checked every single thing I have purchased, insured, ect... over the last 10 years and NOTHING has anything to do with HomeServe - I have no idea where they got my number and why they ring 2/3 times a day.

I have had to go on their website and find contact details, then call them up to get my number removed from their stupid automated ringer - half an hour of my time wasted.

Of course after that the calls have NOT stopped, still getting 2 or 3 PER DAY, its really beyond a joke since I am registered with the TPS they should not ring in the first place.


The TPS say their investigating.... whats to investigate? if everyone on here has complained to the TPS (as they say they have) then surely they should just fine these stupid people and have it done with?

I am extreamly frustrated with this company.

Also got a caller that then hangs up when you answer.
Only seem to wait 4 rings before giving up.

I got rung by the number 01922420057. i did a bit of research and found that the company that calls me is called Homeserve which is a cheap plumbing and insurance company. They rung me 4 times today and have been doing so previously. i have found that you should have a phone that shows callers ID so you can block them out, also wait until the phone has rung at least 5-6 bells then pick the phone up to see who it is although this doesnt always work. Another way is to put it on hold to annoy them and amuse you. Also dont bother ringing them back or leaving them a viocemail because it will be a waste of your time and money, I hope this is of help to you.

Called me at 14:40 today, 21-12-2009.
No one on the other end (no doubt in a cue waiting for an operator).

It's time cold calling was outlawed along with junk mail and junk e-mail.

i have had a lot calls everyday from this number,totally fed up with this nuisance calls,don't know what to do about this apart from screaming at them.

First day off in over 3 months and all I've had all day is these bloody sods calling again and again. Trying to watch a 2 hour movie and they've rung 4 times during the movie alone!

Just wish they'd take the hint and GET LOST!

They allowed my phone just one ring before ending the call. Judging by the other comments, are the staff paid to place the calls irrespective of whether they are answered or not?
Whenever, I answer such a call, I demand to know their name and then to speak to their supervisor. Usually get cut off then. If call continues, I demand to know where they got my number (ex directory) in order that I can cease trading with the company responsible

Can someone PLEASE stop these people telephoning me!
I do not want sales calls!

We have told Home serve numerous times that we do not want their cover and they still keep ringing. This in intrusive and annpoying.
