They keep on calling me and hanging up sometimes several times a day !!!!!!

I have had two more calls from from these people today - getting fed up now as we are x-directory  !  so we bought a WHISTLE AND AT 7-07 TONIGHT MY HUSBAND ANSWERED AND BLEW LIKE CRAZY  , THEN THEY PUT THE PHONE DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Hi this is an update on my last entry ! the Whistle Blowing Didnt Work ! another call today plus -same company different no - 014775366255 ,i went onto their web page found  this number 08000978012 - and spoke to some young woman ! i asked her why they phone and put the phone down, i then informed them that my calls were being monitored, the police will be envolved , plus trading standards- she said they would take my number of their data now , i also informed them to look on who calls me and see how many people complain about their Tactics, so we shall see what happens now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I had 4 calls in the last 2 days persistent as they might be, but my answer machine dose not care this is what to do e-mail them at (info@trustinheritance.com ) and ask them politely to take your number of their list ; Or you can send a letter to

Tell them that persistent unwanted calls are recorded along with numbers and can be used as evidence . This should do the trick.

I think they work and auto-dial system when ringing you, If ten numbers are rung, they will only be able to answer one. The other nine will be left wondering who called.

That's interesting - have been receiving treatment at Bath Hospital recently, so that makes perfect sense. Honestly, you can't trust anyone these days!

EVER wondered how those massively irritating firms that call you out of the blue get your phone number?

It's thanks in part to companies like Phruit Limited, which describes itself as "industry leaders in the provision of lead-generation services."

Translated, this means that after using underhand ploys to get your details, it passes them onto businesses selling everything from mobile phones to will-writing.

Phruit even passed on the details of people who had registered with the Phone Preference Service to opt-out of marketing phone calls.

It also used a sneaky trick known in the trade as "sugging" - marketing or selling under the guise of carrying out research.

Now the company, run from Newark in Notts by Philip and Charlotte Lightfoot, has been suspended from the Direct Marketing Association.

"Membership of the DMA is a clear indicator of a company operating to the highest standards, standing for professionalism and trustworthiness," said Scott Logie, chair of the association.

"Our code of practice is the cornerstone in our efforts to build and maintain political, commercial and consumer faith in direct marketing. Therefore, any company that fails to operate within these standards brings both the association and the industry as a whole into disrepute. It is for this reason that we have no choice but to suspend Phruit from membership."

George Kidd, chair of the Direct Marketing Commission, said: "It's vital that we uphold the high professional standards that define the direct marketing industry. Our recommendation to suspend Phruit from DMA membership clearly illustrates the seriousness of failure to comply with the Association's Code.

have loads of call from this number, never leave message.

I have had three calls from this telephone number in the last three days and every time I pick the phone up, it has gone dead.  When I did a 1471, this is the number that came up!

Thank you - have done so and here is hoping - I am also registered with the TPS so have threatened them with a formal complaint if they continue.

Let them know:

+ They are a will writing service who appear to be obtaining phone numbers from hospitals**, explain that this is an invasion of yours and others' privacy

+ They call you multiple times a day and always hang up, explain how uncomfortable it makes you feel and how annoying it has become


** (read through the other comments, people are called after having received treatments; this applies to myself also)

Had 2 calls from them today, ignored both more luck than jujement (was outside in garden both times so let the answering machine take the call) they put the phone down and left no message. I dialled 1471 and got this number. Interestingly I have recently been a patient at Lister Hospital Stevenage, is there a connection?

Have just called back 01934 423 090..message said this was a marketing call advertising our Will Writing Service...something should be done to stop people like this pestering you

Arrgghhhh I've got five numbers from various cold-callers (all of them appearing on this website) calling me every day now- the phone must go a dozen or more times- and none of the calls are from anything but w@nkers like this lot- i'm thinking of having the landline taken out!!!

You'd have thought in this day and age blocking a phone number would be as easy as blocking an email address...

I am not in debt and I do not wish to be called as though  I was.  Please remove my number from your data base!!!!
