    ex t-mobile
somebody at the start if this said why don't the phone providers provide number blocking services or spam blocks. the answer is it is them that giv e our our numbers to freeupgrades and the other nuisance parasites who should be taken to court for huge damages to collective sanity of the nation.  I once spent 7 hours in separate calls on phone company help service trying to get them to take action on a perpetual slamming scam company who wouldn't stop ringing me when I'd told them not to an dremove my number.  eventually the phone company managed to do that, it took 7 hours of help line time.  if we all called the free helplines everytime this happened perhaps the phone companies would learn, they would be deluged.  other alternative just leave the provider and move on, never take out a contract. hit them that way.

I've had several call from this (and associated numbers) all claiming to be from T-Mobile, and claiming to have new upgrageds and new contracts.

T-Mobile do not sanction these people - they are NOTHING to do with them - they are a bunch of con artists who purchased a "Customer List" from T-Mob, and call you to "sell" you "Free Upgrades"!!!

Try this bit of fun, and get revenge at the same time:

Just answer the phone and put it down, leaving the line open... carry on with your day to day business and let them rack up a bill to your phone - Have fun at the same time, by placing bets with your work collegues as to how long it takes them to hang up!!

    Very annoyed at this webiste
i left a message here saying slander against a company is illegal by business law!

i'm guessing all the messages about satisfied customers get removed... this is great neutral website!!!

i bought some phones from the freeupgrades business team, and got extremely good service.

if people understand resellers eg. freeupgrades, ASDA, PC World, Borders, Waterstones (list is probably endless) and/or actually listening to the call, and legal introductions... it is obvious who they are and what the call is about!

I haven't had my new number for 24 hours and already have had a call from these people! I didn't answer it, as I was unsure of the number, and hadn't given it out to anyone yet!

I have now received missed calls from both 01970801068 and 01873742136 in the last few days. I did not answer any of these thankfully. Interestingly the phone they are ringing is on the 3 network and is a pay as you go - not sure how a free upgrade works in that case! Their information is obviously very out of date.

Over the past week or so I've had calls from
    01873742136
    01970801068
    01224515221
all mentioned in previous posts. So far haven't spoken to anyone, just getting annoying bleep before they hang up. This alone I'm pretty sure is against OFCOM guidelines.
When they do eventually speak to me I shall tell them that my mobile is supplied by work and I have no control over the contract. This has always worked before.

I have also had many a call from all of the numbers, got annoyed, google and here i am, I changed network to O2 nearly 6 months ago on a 24 month contract they dont seem to understand, and as for the guy who got good service, with these operations your bound to one in a hundred, the networks pay these companies for the upgrade customers, from the money they get they have to take out a few things:
    Cost of handset.
    Cost of sim delivery.
    Cost of phone delivery.

the staff will most prob be on commision only so will be pushy and peopl WILL get phones they do not want

As i type this email i have just had a call to company mobile from 01792 482440, claiming my contract was due to expire sometime in the next 6 months - dooh - good guess considering most people are on a 12 month contract. trying to get me to renew - er company mobile - goodbye....

I had a call from these people months ago saying they were from tmobile and I'm due an upgrade, which I wasn't due to have for 6months. I became concerned when they went on to ask for my account details. When I pointed out that if they were from tmobile they'd have my details she admitted they wasn't actually tmobile. I hung up.  Have today received a call from this number and they hung up when I answered!
