Report a phone call from 01970801068 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- OscarHad a missed call from this number today - called it back on to get a silent line :(
I have had about 2-3 calls a day from another number 01132444266 who offer "free upgrades". Maybe the are the same people. I am ignoring all calls from these 2 numbers. - khantingI used to work for this company; they get your details from your network provider. They use wording which makes it sound like they are from T mobile, and your due for an upgrade however they can only switch you to the 3 network.

- SaviourI would like everyone to draw their attention to the people defending freeupgrades here, there is no conceivable way that they would be sticking up for a company which A LOT of people have had problems with or is even on a website called "who calls me?" for blantent annoyance of it's "customers" unless of course they work for them, which i can tell you is 99% most likely.
Make sure you read all the "who calls me" pages which can be done by clicking the "Show more results from whocallsme.com" underneath the link on google.
This then allows you to see the attitude of the people who still work there, and the problems customers have had, then ask yourself is that the kind of business you would like to buy such an important, essential and necessary product from? I think you will find the answer is no.
I as an ex employee can tell you, the training for freeupgrades is a complete and utter joke. You are trained by a man called carl, who I can also tell you is addicted to cocaine... or is a regular user which in my eyes is just as bad, so we have this coke head opening up the training by telling the new trainees "people talk s**t"
Now take a second to think about a company who trains their employees by using comments like that, do you think they are more likely to be a reputable company or one which gets by from conning their customers with hard sale tactics on people easily persuaded.
Now I say conning because of the following reasons:
a) The phone you will get is more than likely to be a refurbished phone not a new one, which is why so many people have phones that are sent to them which do not work properly (check other whocallsme links for evidence of this).
b) If you have any problems with your phone then you are going to find it extremely hard and stressfull to send this back to get a replacement as freeupgrades have become quite good at WASTING your 14 day return policy leaving you stuck with a mobile that they hard sold you remember, not one you chose to buy.
c) The phones they sell are outdated and overpriced, and the contract you are able to get from freeupgrades you can walk into and get in any "3" store to take up if you like the sound of them, this would also come with a more up to date phone which is actually new!
d) they don't switch your contract like they almost trick you into beleiving, they put you on a new contract which actually costs you more money!
So, conning people I can tell you is the only reason they have been getting by for 11 years in a tiny office which looks like it would not be out of place in a 3rd world country, there is no growth in freeupgrades, it is a lifestyle business for the people in charge (a man called jimmy). A good lifestyle paid for by the ignorance of people who buy anything which has been hard sold to them.
So save yourself the trouble and don't purchase anything from these cranks, don't be afraid to answer and tell them to remove you from their calling lists, and as I said before I did work there, so make sure you get them to confirm back to you that you are removed from their list otherwise you will just keep getting called by them.
I hope this helps anyone thinking of buying a phone from them. - JoGood call Saviour, I used to work for them aswell. Did you ever go on a staff party and see Jimmy going into the toilets to "powder his nose". Dirty horrible little [***] the place I work now is just over the road from one of his apartments, wonder if his girlfriend knows hes cheating on her? :)
