(+49)0203... (+49 Germany) is an Duisburger Area code..

Calls at around 9pm says that they are International fund for Animal Welfare. My wife told them I was not in and the other night I did not answer it!
I have been a member of I.F.A.W. for years but this is NOT their number.

Just received a call from Asian sounding man conducting a  Lifestyle survey. Told him I don't do surveys as these result in unwanted mail.  He said this wouldn't happen and the survey will help me! I repeated, no and then asked that my number is removed from their database.  He kept interrupting and I ended up repeating my request five times before eventually saying that if they called again I would report them.  I don't hold out much hope that this will be the last I hear from them!

I get calls repeatedly, sometimes several times a day from 02035534006. I don't answer when I see an unfamiliar number on my caller ID screen, and they never leave a message. Any idea who they are?

It has been suggested that some UK Organisations use 0203 numbers.     If you know of any instances would you please take a moment to post the Company and its 0203 number(s) here, so that we might have a chance of recognising and distinguishing them from scammers who seem attracted to that block of numbers in order to fool people into believing that the are genuinely calling from the UK.

Much appreciated.    I'll try to assemble them in a numerical directory listing as the contributions come in..... and hopefully they will.

I have checked the list you kindly provided.         The majority appear prominently in web searches already.     A couple of others are not verified with their web site.       There does not seem to be need for additional action to prevent confusion with nuisance calls.

I accept that some 0203 numbers out of the one and a quarter million available ones have been used by organisations in the UK.

I keep getting calls on my mobile from 0203 6300502.  A couple of times I have answered but no one spoke and line went dead, now I just ignore them

I get repeated anonymous calls from 02034592066 - really irritating

I have constant phone calls from an Asian man on 02031375041. Despite telling him we are registered with the TPS he still calls twice a day. We do not answer the calls now as they show the in the caller id on my phone. This is still very annoying, any clues how to stop them.

I have discovered a way of preventing these annoying calls but it depends on how determined you are ... I bought a 6500 series phone from BT.  It stops foreign calls, blocks with held numbers and there is a section where you can list numbers that get through and block them individually  It works just fine.  But beware that some legitimate organisations such as my local council tax office also with hold their number so they do not get through either!  That I have found is a bit of over kill because on behalf of my clients I need to hear from them and other legitimate callers.

So when I get these annoying numbers I list them on the phone and Hey Ho no more silent calls.  Actually sometimes I get lonely for a smiling pakistani voice trying to rip me off so I answer them ... Just for a laugh.

Just get a series 6500 phone from BT and list the number in the blocked calls list. For further details go to BT.com shop and search it out for the fuill detail on this service.  You CAN beat these nasty calls.

I keep  getting a call from 020 3025 4521, I answer - get no reply and when I try calling back I get the message 'the number you have dialled is not recognised' - this is driving my barmy!

i iget blank calls form 0203 numbers at all tiems of day includign night.
these are worrying in case they may result from emergency affecting my chidren or other relatives

Download an app called Mr Number for android., dosent stop the first calls but it will any others if you want it to,

Number 0203 0928253  Anyone recognise this… do not answer it as I have caller display and do not know this number.

0203125123.      We have been plagued by this number ringing at anytime day or night for the last week or so!!    Picking up doesn't help as there doesn't appear to be anyone at the other end??    Strange & annoying in the extreme & we pay BT to stop nuisance calls getting through
